Qt 737
 

I am considering the 737 type course; may be Hubair or Astraeus or aviatraining.
I will certainly choose Hubair they have a good QT price ,I saw and hear some good news about that school .

I m very surprise because we have to pay the foul course before the course start, it tend to be financially dangerous ; for exemple if the school have problems !

if anyone have experience ?

QT stands for TR (Type Rating) I suppose...

a TR will not be of any use if you're not able to speak proper English my friend...

I suggest you do a little search as the Hub'air has already been covered on this forum...

the maket is boyant at the moment...so it's up to you if you really have spare money...

A bit harsh and a bit of a sweeping statement Bobby Guzzler.

Looking at my previous posts you may find my comments confusing but I have always said the quality of training at Astraeus has been fantastic and if you purchase a TR with line training offers a very good chance of subsequent employment.

It could be argued that they are the victims of their own success and this has led to some of the delays in line training!

Actually you don't need to speak proper English to get a job on a 73 (all depends which company and which country you are targetting) nor it is a requirement to speak more than Aviation English to then fly the 73 in a commercial environment. Of course if you are aiming at a job in the UK, this is a different story.

I like the and I quote "we have to pay the foul course ". Made me laugh :D :D

Your english is fine i'm sure, far better than the wise-crackers' ability to speak French. However save your money and target airlines that aren't requiring jet time. A type without hours is pretty close to useless. There's lots of opportunity out there, best it's been for years.

Maybe Bobby Guzzler would like to back up his statements with some hard facts?

Agree with Ngenfire 100%. AEU (AOC) or more specifically Bond Aviation Solutions (TRTO) offer an excellent course and of the 10 people that started my course in May, all but 2 are flying B737's all round Europe for a living now (often hear them on the RT) and the remaining two are finishing off either 100 or 300 hr line training packages with AEU bvefore approaching airlines at a time when the industry is very lively and these hours I am sure will get them a job with Ryanair and co.

Ngenfire is quite correct.. there was a backlog in line training earlier this year but from what I can see that is almost over now.. had a guy on his pre line training observation on the jump seat to PFO on Wednesday, he has his full BAA ID and will be starting his LT in the next week or two and he only completed his base training the week before...
