I paid around £5,400 for my FI course in January - did it at East Midlands Flying Instructor School.

The course duration is approximately 6 weeks - 120 hours in the classroom and 30 hours flying. There are loads of recommendations for FI(R) courses so worth doing a site search.

As long as you have a training record then I am sure you would be able to change

Hi guys,

Did my FI aty ontrack aviation at wellesbourne. Excellent tuition(EX RAF) and super a/c. Would highly recommend them cost me £5000. They're not looking to make a huge profit!!!

Have a look www.ontrackaviation.com. Give them a call, super guys.

Agree with BenHurr- would recommend E. Mids. £5-6 about right, not every school provides the requisite ground school hours - fine til the CAA decides to audit......

Hey, can anyone recommend any schools in Ireland or Northern Ireland do a FI course, and if so any prices?

Cheers, 1800.
