instructor in the US

I just got my JAA CPL IR ME (frozen atpl) and my FAA PPL ME.
Because it seems not so easy to find a job, I was thinking about going to the US to be a PPL instructor for a year.

I remember that when I was there, 2 years ago, there was quiet a lot of european guys doing that for hours building and experience.

Do we need a green card to be instructor there?
Is it possible to have a permit for a specified period of time?
Is it easy to get it?

Any remarks are welcomed

You need a J1 visa, unfortunately you can only get a J1 when you have only a PPL+70 hours, and you already got your CPL. So if you play it by the rules you're not eligible.

You'd have to register in a part 141 CPL/CFI training program.
