Ryanair

Hi...

Does anyone know what is going on with the Ryanair SSTR? How long do I have to wait from applying at the Ryanair Website or CAE Flightschool until I get any notice from anyone? I paid the 50 damn bucks but heard nothing...
Any help appreciated.

Cheers

quoted from Ryanair website:

"You can only apply on-line if you have been selected for a type-rating course by an Approved Training School. If you apply on-line without being offered a type-rating your application will not be processed and your application fee will not be refunded."

so maybe before paying 50 pounds you should have waited for a word from one of their school.

anyway they replied to me a week after i sent the application.. but i guess i was very lucky

best luck

****,... so the 50 bucks are lost! I should read sometimes more carefully...
I also applied at CAE in Amsterdam for the Typerating, but this was 4 weeks ago. Is there a waiting list or similar? How long does it take until they respond?

I have applied 4 times with them during 1 year, and still nothing.

I applied to them 3 weeks ago and got called last week to attend an interview / sim check . I guess they like Irish pilots !!! flightime

Whether it's true or not I would be of the opinion that being Irish helps your cause getting into Ryan...

ihatecbs 25th Jun 2005 14:46

.... i think that's because they used to be able to squeeze more hours out of the irish guys than the british, not sure if that is still the case

flighttime2.0 25th Jun 2005 17:36

They can squeeze as many hours out of me as they want cos hours is exactly what im looking for .flighttime
