CTC ATP scheme

I applied for the CTC ATP scheme in December and got the letter through early January to say that I had made it through to Phase 2 however was advised this would probably not happen until April\May time.

As yet I have not been given a date but I have heard from people that they have stopped sending out applications?

I would like to know if anyone else is also waiting on the ATP scheme and if they have been called up yet for further phases? Would be good to know if there is any movement at all and also how busy the pool is?

cheers

Hi Variablepitch

I've just been on selection with CTC and I applied in October. I think that the May estimate is probably accurate, because they seem very busy.

The hold pool has 1 person in it at the moment. We asked that same question and 5 pilots had just been taken on by MyTravel that day. (I think it was them)

CTC are a very well run and professional outfit from what i have seen, and the guys we talked to who were on the course spoke highly of the course and instructors.

good luck with that selection.

Best regards :ok:

There is plenty of info on the first couple of selection stages, however what proportion of those who make it to stage 4 (MCC and Handling Assesment) DONT make it to the hold pool?

Obviously those who get selected have done well through hard work and graft. However it would be interesting to know what factors let people down at the last stage.

Cheers:ok:

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the responses. Good to hear that things are moving and also that the hold pool is very empty!

From what I understand if you get as far as stage 4 they want you and you simply need to prove yourself (simply?!).

Any further info from anyone whould defintely be appreciated and if anyone knows what the hold up is all about?

cheers
