CTC Type rating
 

Hey,

Does anyone have any info on the CTC type rating course for the 73.
Opinions on the training, how tough it was and really any advice for someone going through it. Anythng they would have done dfferently if doing it for a second time.

Any thoughts and tips appreciated

Hi,

I have heard both Good and Bad reports on CTC.

The course lasts approx 46 days, 19 days groundschool, 5 days in the FTD and 8 days in the sim. Once you have finished you go to your sponsered airline for circuits.

Are you on a course with Easy/Jet2??

Just been looking at the Jet 2 offer that is out and from what I can gather it is the same training format as easy.
If you could let me know what the pros and cons are I would be grateful.

The Jet 2 offer is with a 3 year bond as Easy is a 5 year bond. However the Easy salary is much better.
