Starting that Career

Hi Guys

As as recently qualified Me Cpl / Ir (JAR) I am keen to find a company that will enable me to build my hours rapidly to make my cv more attractive to the larger airlines.

I have thought about instructing and tugging but prefer the idea of air taxi work. I have a total of 385Hrs which I am continuing to build all be it slowly.

I dont mind going abroad if anyone knows of anyone that would be happy to employ me with the above qualifications be great to hear your thoughts and comments.

Thanks Steve

county87,

I believe Air Taxi work needs a minimum of 700 hours as it includes a lot of single pilot multi engine IFR.

Iasked about it here http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthr...threadid=94480

Thanks for that appreciated. Guess I will just have to continue as I am for the time being then and see what turns up. Looks like it will be the flying instructor route.

I get the imoression that you and I are in the same line of work although my feet are on the ground.
