To all Ppruners and moderators

Dear All,

I have been offered a first officer position on B737-500 today.
I would like to thank all the ppruners who helped me through the hardest time, people I know in life and the mysterious ones...
Also I would like to thank the moderators for having had such a great idea for this website,it helped me to keep faith and realise how the fortunate I am to part of this aviation world.

I will continue taking part on these forums, may not be as often, but I promise to help of all my knowledge the ones who are looking for their first break in Europe.

Thank you all again,

Best Regards,

M.85

Hi there.
Its Sky Europe airlines..based in Bratislava,
They are expanding and looking fos for brazilias and 737s,however more seats on the 120.The last interviews were last week but planning to get more around May.
Pay is ridiculous(less than cabin crew in london) but enough to live in Slovakia, people are great and it seems to be a very dynamic team.

Hope you get a positive answer wrong sisters

Well done and many congrats !!
For (too) many months I have been SO impressed by your unselfish and "never say die" support and advice to your fellow job-seekers.
You have set a fine example of keeping going when very often there appears to be little point.
You are a fine role model to all those guys who "bleat on" that the (aviation) world owes them a living but do very little else but moan.

WELL DONE and the very best of luck!!

Andy_R 10th Feb 2004 02:13

I hope your luck continues to improve M.

Congratulations from the heart and the warmest of good luck's to you!! WELL DONE :ok: :ok: :ok: :ok:

Quite a few fellow students from Univ. work there (predominantly non-flt.dk) and sound very pleased with the company, overall spirits and payroll (related to Slovak living costs, of course). The more talented ones as I recall.

If you may have time one day, say hi to Marian (dispatch/NAV I guess) the ever-smiling. Perhaps we may even bump each others shoulder one day, SkyE has some sim blocks provided by our training. Until then, may your arrivals be as pleasant as your departures...:ok:

My most sincere congratulations future B737 F/O!!

I sent them my CV along with a covering letter. Got a reply receiving a pilot application form, to know more about me as a pilot. I filled it and sent it back, I’m waiting since then, this was two weeks ago aprox.

How is the selection process?? I’d be delighted to fly a JAR25 acft like the brazilian!!

Once more, congrats!!! It's great to hear about happy stories like yours :O

Enjoy this great moment!!

Remember to come back to let us all about your new job. E.g How much line training you must do, where you fly to, what you think of the 737 compared to what you have flown before..
Thank you and all the best for the future.:ok:
