What has happened to JET2 Recruitment?

The ball appears to have stopped rolling regarding the actual handing out of contracts of employments to those who have successfully completed there interview/simulator assessment...

Does anyone have any further information, other than the fact they are reviewing there aircraft delivery schedule????

Well, I was hoping for a call from HQ before Christmas, but it appears I and many others will have to hang from the Christmas stocking a little longer!!! :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

Carlos,
Congatulations on your recent "Promotion"
When do you start?

Just checked out the Channex website, and have noticed a few changes in their recruitment requirements.

They are only looking for Type Rated people now, so not sure where that leaves the non-type rated people who have succesfully completed their recent selection process!?

Anyone any wiser?

Just returned from the sim, 4 chaps under training on the 737 further people to start in January. Training arranged for a number of guys coming across from the FK 27, trying to balance the sim training and availability of line trainers means things don't move as fast as you might wish if you are on the outside trying to get in.

Does anyone know when the courses are booked up to so far?? As a non rated pilot in the que it would be good to be able speculate at around what point things would start to proceed. This is based on the assumption they are still going to take us non-rated guys now they are looking for type rated again!!

Got a letter today saying they still want us, but have been tied up converting F27 pilots to the 737, and setting up the Belfast base.

So the suffering will have to go on a little longer.

Happy "New Hopefully Channel Express New Year" to all of you in the same situation!
