Cypriot 737 Operator ?

Me again ...

Have heard in the rumour mill that a new Cypriot Airline is starting up and is interested in cadets interested in self sponsor.

Anyone know anything about this ?

Hi, haven't heard about this new airline. I have been speaking to a few people at Eurocypria (charter of Cyprus Airways) and they were saying that they will take on pilots from out of Cyprus as soon as they join the EU (Which is planned for April 2004) so if they are looking for cadets, should be good :)

Hi,

Correct me if im wrong but wasn't Eurocypria supposed the be an independent charter since the arrival on the new B737NG's ?

I had the general idea that Cyprus Airways sold Eurocypria, but i might be wrong and confusing it with something else... :ok:

AIRWAY,

I think you are correct, sorry forgot about that :O .

I like the new livery of Eurocypria, saw one of the 738's in LCPH a few weeks ago.

Sorry guys,
Eurocypria is still owned by Cyprus Airways.
Helios Airways is the only independent airline in Cyprus.
There are rumours that anothr independant operator will take off next year. Working name is either Air Atlas or Air Cyprus. They will start up with 3 or 4 B757-200s. They will want european peeps with rating and lots and lots of experience!

:O
