Ryanair as a partner airline????

I honestly thought I was doing the selection in order to keep as far away as possible from them!

If that's what it is though, then that is what it is. As long as you don't have to pay for the type rating. I just do not fancy having a further £25-30k loan on top of what I already owe.

I would doubt Ryanair is a partner airline. CTC make money by charging their 'partner' airlines for their cadets. Ryanair currently make 5000 per cadet through their scheme with CAE, and hell will freeze over before Ryanair pay for their cadets.

Silverjet perhaps?

I know that CTC have had discussions with them, but for what kind of training... that I don't know.

Bepatient are you a cadet? If so, you know I'm right!!!!

If CTC didn't talk about this "new" partnership it's simply because nothing has been decided yet.. But obviously except the fact that the cadets won't have to attend the FR selection process, I'd be astonished if Ryanair would pay for the Rating

But we should wait and see guys, then we'll talk about the pros and the cons.

where i can get the PILAPT?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear friends,

Has anyone idea of where i can get the PILAPT (Pilot Aptitude Testing)?

Today i've just received an e-mail for participation in Stage 2.

Thank you in advance for your info!

Pol
Now then, Have you done a search?

There's plenty of information on pprune. In fact you could google PILAPT and you'll find it. Try reading back through the CTC threads as I believe I compared the two available packages with the actual tests that CTC use.

Hi all,

I'm off for the Phase 3 interview in a couple of weeks. Reading through the thread, the interview seems to be centred around the usual personal questions and the partner airlines. Does anybody know what technical questions come up?

Apologies if this has already been covered, but I couldn't find it!

Is that true? Ryanair as a new partner airline?
NO - it looks to be a 737-400 TR Program for Pacific Airlines pilots.

STOP PRESS...STOP PRESS...

perhaps exiciting chance to move to jetstar in australasia at some point?
lol-not a chance unless the local supply of 200hr wannabees dries up!

The pacific contract is to cover the fact that not too many locals in vietnam are willing/able to splash the cash for a CPL. Three years in vietnam will be interesting, if not a challenge. Interesting to hear the terms of contract, e.g. bond, pay etc??

remember tho as of later this year when they formally merge with jetstar there WILL be opportunites to jump to the qantas section of jetstar

Really I don't think so. You might need to be an Australian resident to get onto that gig unless you are talking about jetstar asia and I can't see that happening.

There's not a hope in hell that EU passports would be allowed Australian 457 visas to work in Aussie and the unions would have none of it.

Treat it for what it is. A place to get some time before you come back to the EU. I don't really think you could make a career of it and I wouldn't be surprised if there is a law only allowing nationals to upgrade much like there is in India.

Ladies/Gents, without revealing the exact terms and conditions of the contract, this really is an immense opportunity. Not only will you be trained in one of the most professional training environments around, but you will be working for a company that is willing to invest into you. If you go into this with thoughts of joining JQ in Aus, then I really don't think this is the right opportunity for you. Pacific has huge expansion plans, in one of the most dynamic and expanding regions in SE Asia, if you stick out your three years, you work hard and you prove yourself to be a valuable employee you never know where it could all lead... in my opinion you would be mad not to take it (except for those with family considerations etc.)

Okay - I had my phase 3 last week on thursday - the interviewer told me that there would be a new partnership with Ryanair.

So as far as I'm concerned, Ryanair WILL be a new partner airline...to which, I'm gutted about!!!

are people still going through for the atp scheme

Hi there.

All is very quite on the ATP wings forum, are people still going through for the selection tests. Only the wings forum is active these days...does that mean CTC are not putting any more ATP people through the scheme?

Is Ryanair a partner airline now.

Would much appreciate any information.

Regards

question for dj

DJ you are a star...thanks mate for your help.

What I was meaning to say was that when it opened in Feb I applied and am now in the process of selections. If I got in there in Feb will I still be considered if I am sucessful?

I dont mind waiting at all.......if I ever lucky to get through it will be worth it!

could you answer this question dj?

Cheers mate

No what I mean is if they have invited you for selection dates (they have invite me) and if you are one of the small minority intelligent people to get through....will you then be offered the same chnaces of jobs as the wings people or because of ATP they postpone you?

sorry my english is not so good sometime

Does anyone have any ideas, whats going on with the CTC website, when trying to access the application form for CTC wings, I keep being sent to another unrelated site: http://ctcwings.ctcaviation.com/?cli...&apptype=Cadet, which takes me to an aircraft sales page, any ideas?
