I second that! Skies is full of

@skies- who are you trying to fool? Most of the people posting in this thread are in the ATP database... perhaps you should bear this in mind as the credibility of your future posts are in jeopardy!

Then I open the floor to you gentlemen - you have paid the money and deserve to know what position you are currently in. Please tell everyone considering the scheme:

1. How long you have been waiting for a job having completed the scheme.

2. what number you currently are in the "hold pool".

Skies, given your unique way in which you have drawn attention to yourself and tried to gain information I don't think you need you worry about the answer to those questions. With that kind of attitude I honestly can't see you getting through the selection process.

"Skies", I'm not sure which holdpool you are in, but when it comes to people filling this thread up with NONSENSE you certainly do NOT rank 92nd. We are more closing in on a top 3. - And as for you "sky captain", congrats on your ATPL and MCC... as far as posts in the ATP forum... it's called an unnecessary piece of information. (using your own words).

NOW,

For those who follow this forum and haven't heard yet, CTC have started taking in ATP'ers. What could be interesting to know is if anyone knows the demand for the coming months, the supply of cadets etc. Also are CTC still making assessments to fill up the pool that could indicate a further need for ATPers? I would be nice with some genuine realities in here instead of these people spamming all over. Spam my mail instead, at least I have a filter there! Let's reserve this threat for useful information, I'm sure most of you agree with me.

PJATE1, I might be wrong, but from what I understand, you did your AQC after January 2011, and you are already in the top 3 of the ATP hold pool??

Flyride- No, that is not what he is saying. He was implying that skies ranked highly when it comes to filling up this thread with nonsense, not that he (PJATE1) is in the top 3.

skies- I am interested to know how you will use the information if someone were to answer your questions? To answer your first question:

1-10 have been waiting a very very very long time
11-20 have been waiting a very very long time
21-30 have been waiting a very long time
31-40 have been waiting a long time etc. etc. (I am not implying that there are only 40 in the pool by the way)

With your second question, are you hoping that everyone in the whole pool will reply so that you can see how many are in it?

I realise that it can be difficult to get useful information out of people on these forums sometimes, but you have done yourself no favours by making up a blatent lie in order to get information; information that seems pretty irrelevant as far as I can see. I think if you were to read through some of the previous pages of this thread, you will get a better understanding of the situation with the ATP database. I apologise for my sarcastic answer to your first question, but I can tell you that dishonesty will get you nowhere in the aviation world. Have a read of the whole thread and then if you have any genuine questions, I'm sure people will be more willing to help you.

Clearly not, because "skies" is number 92!!

Hopefully some of those who've been waiting a very very very long time have found other flying jobs meaning the guys who've only been waiting a very long time can progress up the list a bit too

On completion of the scheme, which costs a lot of money, you go into a hold pool. Spending this big sum of money - it is therefore very important to know the numbers in the hold pool, and also how long it might take to get a job.

- £8000.00 - no job guarantee, and no more flight hours? This course should not be a requirement to get a job interview with easyjet etc.

Some of you guys are very young....For some of you guys its clearly not your own money....

OK so I'm already in the ATP pool so I'm not looking to have an argument about the benefits or lack of of doing this scheme. I'm purely looking to get some opinions of other people who are in the pool in light of the recent developments.

I haven't been in the pool as long as a lot of you - from what I can gather from this thread alone, there appear to be guys sat in this pool who have been here coming up for 3 years. However, I would imagine a lot of those people will have found jobs elsewhere in the meantime. Indeed I know of at some people in the top 20 of the list who are working for Ryanair so I would hazard a guess there are some more?

As for the latest development, and by that I refer to the latest email from CTC this week, what are people's views on this? Positive or negative? I would imagine there will be differing views on both sides so it would be interesting to hear them.

Please don't give me too much grief, I get enough of that at home. I'm just finding these weeks of waiting a little frustrating and was hoping to have some constructive discussions about it.

Cheers

I wasn't trying to be funny. There's at least 5 people flying for FR who are in the ATP pool and therefore won't be eligible for the scheme any more. And that's just the people I know about.

If the cadet pool is now basically empty what do you think our chances are of being placed in Q1 2012?

Hi guys,

I've just finished the AQC recently so I'm at the bottom of the pool.
Could you tell me how the CTC's updates are?

I heard during the AQC the cadet pool is almost empty and some ATPs will be called next 2012. Even some ATPs were doing the A320 TR during my AQC.(After waiting 2 years)

Rgds

@aap29:- that's great news about the pool and the expectation for 2012. I wonder when those ATP guys got called for their TR; I don't remember seeing anything from CTC apart from the current requirement. Maybe they just contacted the 1st 2 people directly that time, whereas this time they've emailed everyone in the pool which could suggest a more rapid requirement from EZY.

As for CTC's updates - well you can see for yourself over the last few weeks assuming you got in the pool in time to get the latest emails. The one issue I think everyone has is that last email we got - why didn't they tell us it was looking bad or looking good. It just makes people guess which is unhealthy. And still no news today so far.

I hope you're patient; you might need to be as some people have been in the pool a LONG time.
