Do UK Airlines accept MPL's from other airlines in 2025?

Seen a thread in 2021 about this and wondered if UK airlines accept qualified MPL students with zero hours from another UK airline? Was there a regulatory motion passed in 2018 that allowed this to happen, OR do they still prefer an ATPL? Lots of conflicting messages on Google.

Not clued up on the latest rules to be honest so my reply might be entirely useless, but it used to be that you were locked in to the specific MPL airline until you had around 1500 hours and then could transfer to other airlines. A conventional frozen ATPL will allow you to apply or move to any other airline that is hiring (f)ATPL pilots.
