Hi Guys

I have applied in September last year (2020) for NTR FO cadet program. In October 2020 they change my status to a pre-screening process, and nothing happen until today that the status updates change to 26/08/2021 (so today).

Does anyone have hear anything from Wizz for the this program? or anyone have been called by them in the recent months?

Thanks!

You must be living in the worl of oz....never heard from them such an amount of , they offended a certain nationality at the introduction basically giving them thiefs...the technical test was a joke...20% was mathematics the rest 20% topics you can't know even with a year on the books...clearly done by a non pilot as the questions were more like hakuna matata style, the group excercise?....usefull...interview, unless you can draw a complete hydraulic system on the board and have a phenomenal memory or know all...but all what the FAC does and the logics and whom it interfaces with in different phases of flight good luck. Simulator some guys have t/o tcas, w/s recovery engine fire, land evacuation....others t/o gear doors unlock, meantime fuel leak...when on final double hydraulic, go/around back to land thumbs up bye bye we dont need you, then you go through a dlr type test that's crazy...overall impression? A band of retarded gipsies!

You over complicate it - there's only one answer they are looking for - gender - pale male? - 'sorry, wrong answer'

Wizzair "we have to act in the short term by trying to identify where the female pilots are that we could recruit in the mid-term.”

Yeah I’m curious why the government would be paying for a company to interview what are mostly foreigners.

Precisely. Although said foreigners are being interviewed for jobs with a Hungarian company, they won't be employed on Hungarian contracts and won't be paying taxes in Hungary, as far as I'm aware. Then why would the Hungarian taxpayer subsidise the company for their interviews?

The info's we gathered are that for every interview they do, the Hungarian govnmt pays a fee to the airline, that means they will call thousands of pilots for interviews with little interest to hire them, meantime the 1000 pilots layed off won the court trial against Wizz, the judge ordered the company to rehire them...basically they don't need pilots at all, they just need your money!

Not completely correct, they operate on 3 aoc's, uk,hungary, abu dhabi, Hungary aoc includes all countries excluding uk and Abu dhabi, most probably that money comes from allowances given by the european unions..basically europe gives hungary the money to sustain interviews...unfortunatelly it will cost you 500 to 700 € of tickets...hotels...taxi's...meals to go there and be treated like an idiot, but if one has time , money and patience to waist be their guest.

From what I can read, I guess the way Wizz is acting as of today is quite logical. They get thousands of application and will (maybe?) hire 10% of said numbers. They have the chance to play it cool now and show the world they conduct NASA-mission like assessments so one would think they are the best among the best. It is still the same airline that used to take experienced RATED and NON RATED FOs (whom sometime failed their upgrade in some major around the world) directly on the LHS. Go figure.

It's a shame you were rejected but there's no need to get very emotional here.
Well the info you gathered is very poor. Even on this exact forum it was written many times that they fired 265 pilots. Out of 265 around 150 made it back already, the rest of them know that they are not welcome. And yes, 3 pilots and few CC won in the court. This really isn't a huge deal for recruitment is it?
The goverment fees for interview I'm not going to comment.

Nothing personal but your preparation when reading about company shows your preparation when reading FCOM.

You can have your opinions and I am not interested into them, emotional is reductive and the sanctions this airline receives by authorities one day and the other also speak alone, the behaviour regards the rotten apples too, the 100 millions given for the unsuccess of leadership are a hilarious joke and the 4200 pilots they pretend to hire ( all the best of wet luck) the base for a comic movie...I can engage a 1v1 on Fcom any time mr professor of my ⚽️

To all pilots going for recruitment I wish the best luck as in this disatrous period...but expect the most toxic and irrespectful behaviour from four kids average 35 years old that still need to grow up.Out.

Hi every one. Just to change the subject.

Can anyone explain how does it work for the multipliers?

Is it only multiplied on your basic salary? or also on the distance pay and landing pay?

Thanks.

Vow... they have improved I guess.

As before you just needed to give the right person a lump full of cash in a brown envelope or bank account in some tax free haven to get a job with them.
