Non TR Cadet

Hi,

Does anyone know if Non-TR cadets with UK licences/UK passports are being invited for assessments?

I've heard nothing back for several months and was hoping someone could provide further info or PM me Wizzair's UK contact number if possible.

I've sent two emails to the recruitment email address to no avail.

Thanks.

Hello.

Has anyone done their assessment recently that could share their experience?
Also is Wizz calling a lot of cadets to do their assessement?

NTR cadet pilot JOC

Hello,

I have the same issue with JOC. I only have the normal MCC done on the 737NG, but I think they won't invite you to the assessment if you don't meet the full requirements... Wrote them an email a few days ago about this without an answer. Has anyone a phone number of the pilot recruitment department? I want to avoid any surprises during the document check.

Thanks and good luck to all

Joc is required if No type rated on cs25. Even if they give you a date you need to have it at the assesment. Better do it in anycase

Hope that you have passed the assessment. Was the JOC required in the end?
Thanks for your help

I have recently completed the 2 day Wizz assessment (NTR cadet). They say to expect the answer within 2 weeks. Does it usually take the whole 2 weeks for them to respond or have people been receiving answers sooner than that?

Would you be kind to give us feedback about your assessment with Wizzair?

Hello people,

I would like to know, how long is it between the application and the invitation for the tests?

And do you think picture is mandatory for them ?
I mean, in my country, pics on resume are not required due to discrimination problems. And I'm a bit afraid that my picture could play against me if I use one (not that I look like an ass but it's more about my skin color. I don't want to face stereotype if you know what I mean).

Thank you

Wizzair do not discriminate based on race, they are more than happy to abuse and mistreat pilots regardless of their skin colour, don't worry, seriously.

Hi ,

Does anyone know "Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU" ?

I am just starting for my MCC course but i have questions about right to live and work in EU ? I am with Turkish passport and Bulgarian residency (unlimited). I have all the rights as Bulgarian citizen and I can work in any company in Bulgaria without additional documents and taxes.

I just want to ask that will Wizz will hire me with this condition ? Since Wizzair has base in Bulgaria (Varna and Sofia) I guess it must not be problem.

Waiting your response.

You won't be recruited without EU passport. At my assessment there was a guy in your same situation and they had to stop him despite having passed the sim assessment.

Unrestricted in that country, not in all Europe. They can and will move you anywhere required, that’s why they cannot have people restricted to work in a single country. And no, they are not going to sponsor for a visa.

Hi all,

Anyone applied for the type rated cadet position with less than 300 hours and received an answer? I wonder if this is a hard limit.

I want to re-apply after my first assessment was unsuccessful and this requirement wasn't there previously.

Thanks!

So Wizzair has 2 bases in Bulgaria and right now they search a lot of pilots specially for Bulgarian and Romania. In these case if I ask to stay in Bulgarian base why they search EU passport ? Also as crew if you land any EU country you have right to stay 48 hours without visa which even I have experience with DA20 while I land Greece.

Honestly bit strange situation.

It's not strange. At any point they can shut down a base and require you to move to another EU location, this would be impossible due to your non EU visa. You would be a liability only being able to work from bases in one country and they have thousands of applicants filling the spots anyway so no need for them to take slight risks.
