Light ac jobs for hours

Evening all,

I’m inquiring from the perspective of someone who will probably go modular (and finish within the next year). I’ve scanned the forums for info about how instructing /bush flying a cessna in africa can help someone between between training and the first airline job.

  • I understand the genuine concern on the quality of airline hungry instructors, I agree should give 100% to anything they do.
  • Looking at various job offers for FO, it seems there’s a whole lot more available for those with 800hrs TT rather than 250. Many don’t say it has to be jet time etc.
  • Are there any airline biases against someone whose taken this route of hour building through light aircraft jobs -COMPARED to if one did ‘just enough’ to keep the license alive after modular training , whilst back in the office job.
  • A factual perspective may assist those interested in L3 and Jerez’s instructor roles.

Thanks
