Hi Have you been given a date or heard anything from IAGO lately?

As far as I know you can expect a 50-60 ATPL questionnaire multiple choice, group exercise and interview with 2 personal (could be captains both of them) with mix of HR and technical topics.

I called IAGO last month and the personal who deals with IAGO-thomas cook said they were waiting for Thomas cook to give them all clear to start recruiting but she had no idea when that was going to happen.

I applied today, it seems they are still accepting applications or maybe they forgot to take down the recruitment website

Hi James

When did you get that email? Did you apply to the cadet or experienced pilot scheme?

I spoke to IAGO a couple of weeks ago and they said they had no idea when the assessment days would be.

Hi Guys,

I've received a provisional assessment date on the 20th August 2019. I was wondering if I could get some feedback regarding the Simulator Assessment. I know it will certainly be a SID, Gen.Handling, ILS AEO, GA then ILS S/E to land. Is it done at BHX, LGW or MAN ? Is it flown in a full motion A321 or B757? please help!

Hi Gents

Set up an account here to say I’m in the same boat. Received an invite for the August 20th and September 17th dates and got selected provisionally on Friday for the August 20th one with more news this week.

I was a bit downhearted with the news yesterday of TCX requesting a further £150m in addition to the £750m requested a month ago.

Hopefully we can get confirmation today as it does sound like a fantastic opportunity

The airline is fine

The Airline is fine, the Thomas Cook UK Group Isn't

However The airline with the crane is looking at buying out TCX and merging into condor

However I do believe the opportunity is there but we could be based in Germany rather then UK

Hi folks,
I applied long time ago for IAGO Thomas cook, and today I received an email if I was still interested in the scheme (cadet).
Of course I said yes, updating my application, but I really don't know what to expect.
Is it a one day assessment ?

Its says two days on their website, when I applied (if i remember correctly) you have to pay 750 for both days but depend on your progress if you didn't make it to the second day they will refund you like 400 or something (hopefully you will smash it through both days.)
also if you read from 2018 there is lots of information available about the assessment on this form.

Yes, I had a look on this thread, and I got a confirmation email about all the steps for this assessment.
I don't know why, but I'm still wary about this agencies, as I haven't had positive experiences with them so far.
The point is still the same, you go there, perhaps passing the steps, and the airline don't give a **** about you, or they find the nitpick for kicking candidates out.
We'll see what happens.
