I think you’ll be right. I’m assuming they aren’t going to phone thousands of unsuccessful applicants to say “sorry”. That would take ages.

If this was the case would it be safe to assume that the emails would all be received at roughly the same time as part of an automated reply sort of thing? And the calls would be carried out periodically over the next few days? Hate to ask but has anyone unfortunatly received an email?

thats how it went last time the programme ran. The phone calls came first then the emails after the phone calls were done-ish

They are talking about psychometrics assessment (in addition to group exercises & individual interview). Does anyone know what does that mean ? What kind of assessment should we expect ?

nah theyll be inviting aprx 200+ people. they cant phone everyone in a day so the call sessions will take about a week i think

Last time it took three working days for them to contact the successful applicants.
On the fourth day everyone else received an email.

I also got a missed call from a 074 number with location of United Kingdom. Could that be Aer Lingus or not? I'm really worried if I missed the opportunity because of a missed call.
I did read on another years forum that if you miss the call they will contact you again but I am not sure.

I can confirm that I received a call today and that my status on the Aer Lingus site still says "Invite to pre selection online test" 12 hours later.

My caller ID said Dublin and showed an Ireland number. I missed the call, and the representative left a message for me to call back. Don't worry about it.

Don't know whats worse, having got this far to now wait for the call or know that time is ticking and it could be one step closer to bad news haha. Its such a tease!
