Hey
Still in the "no call, no email" camp.
Is the email from " The Aer Lingus Recruitment team" or is it some other email address their using? Would anyone be able let me know - Thinking perhaps maybe I missed it so thought I'd search my emails to double check.

I emailed them yesterday and got this. :
Due to the large number of applications, they are still being assessed at the moment. You will be contacted via email in due course.

Can't remember if this is the same automated reply that everyone that co tacted them got?

Still not got mine either, they've either forgotten about us or we've somehow made our way off of the email list! Either way, an update would've been nice from them.

I am also in the no call no email pool, and am still waiting!

Has everyone who didn't get invited for an assessment day had a response? Or are some still waiting either way?

Is this an addition to the already announced classes in November and January?

I'm probably being very hopeful here, but this could perhaps be the reason some of us (myself included) haven't heard back at all yet? Because surely they would've told us 'no' by now, considering all summer 2018 assessments have concluded?

Lad on the A320 fleet with AL told me. I think it's a postponement more than a cancellation though.

Yeah delayed rather than cancelled hence the logic of extra classes for cadets returning by 2020 when the delayed 2019 A321LRs meet the 2020 scheduled A321LRs
Great news if it's true for cadets not so good if your are DEP for 2019 but maybe A330's can be found like the one from Qatar - lovely aircraft.
Expansion : complicated but positive.

I got my unsuccessful email today... given that people were being told of their successful application more than a month ago itís pretty bad they have taken this long to inform people.

I am am trying to surmise why this may have been the case, hopefully thinking I may have been put on a reserve list. Though realistically that may be unlikely. More likely they havenít got the infrastructure in place to cater for the high volumes of applications. Not fair on those at AL having a huge work load or applicants as how can they sift through so many in a fair and balanced way?

Big downer on the day.
