Bases in Ryanair

Just wondering how hard is it to get the base you want at ryr?

Like for example if you wanted to be based at charleroi, do you just apply for it and your name goes on a waiting list? How long does it generally take?

Can take more than a year. Depends on base size and how many people are interested in that base. And depends also on luck. There's not a real waiting list. They just randomly pick people.
For example, going to Eindhoven or Stockholm/Gothenburg is almost impossible, because they're the only bases in the respective country and most guys want to go there.
Ryanair is trying a bit more now though, because they found out that you're more likely to work days off when you live in the same city you work.

SXF, STN and WRO you would walk into and get any of these bases, you give them your 3 x base preferences at the assessment in STN and then choose the one that suits, so hopefully you should get pref 1, no chance of places like MAD, REGIONAL UK, FCO, MXP, LIS, NRN,
