This is definitly not the way to go... you could end up rated on a machine not used outside (but you still have to pay for the TR) and they don't provide permanent contract - only seasonal... with a pay barely above the minimum salary for french bases and nothing in winter due to the low number of flights... If you still want to tie the rope around your neck then feel free, don't complain about it in the future.

How high can prices go before these airlines/ATO's run out of people stupid enough to pay for these schemes - 150k, 200k, 500k?
If they get enough kids whose parents are very wealthy, then I think you have your answer

They also fly with A319's. Not only the 717's 😉.

I have an interview in June with Volotea at CAE Oxford and I'm incredibly apprehensive, and will really need to seriously consider accepting should they offer me a position. I hope they ask me in the interview why it is I want to fly for Volotea so I can spin the question and ask them 'Why SHOULD I work for Volotea'? Spending plus €100k on training to fly for an airline which pays the bare minimum isn't an enticement for me. I'm more interested in completing the training as it also includes an a320 type rating...

Just take a look at the T&C.
This should enlighten you about what to expect after this scheme

If flying a 319 under a seasonal contract which will barely allow you to live worth 13X XXX€ then go for it ;o)

747pro I assume you don't know what you are talking about, it has clearly been said that the airline will offer - or not - permanent contract regarding their needs.
Moreover, the previous cadets were offered seasonal contract.
Now if you don't see the bait, that's not my problem.
There's a ton of better opportunities for a cheaper price out there.

Hey!

Did anyone one get to the bottom of what this programme actually entails and the end result? Curious that there’s no salary info for any of their current vacancies!

Programme does sound great, but upon receiving this from CAE:
Starting salary circa €20,000 on a seasonal contract... it is not surprising nobody has yet booked themselves into a stage 3 interview...

I just want to say I have no issue with the airline and this opportunity seemed incredibly promising before I read the T&C’s!

Well, they don't get into the program but they do ask for at least 300 hours on the 320 to get in As FO, is that Savage? I think so.

What a joke, being paid less than a waiter; so embarassing for whoever accept this low life salary.
