Yes I was offered a place and start mid February
Some people already started in December.
About the cost of the training, if you don't have a PPL, it's 61k and 5k reduced in case you have a people.
The TR will be paid back upon your salary, something like 500 eur per month during 3 years.
It really doesn't seem to be a trap from my point of view (obviously I wouldn't have accepted it otherwise), the school looks serious, the facility is modern, the letter of engagement I received from wizzair really seems fair.
This kind of programs are new for BAA so there is always more doubt compare to the big 3 schools which are more experienced with those program.
But I think that's also a strategy of development for the school to attract eastern European airline.

Thanks Ben71, for your feedback and congratulations on receiving the placement. Fingers crossed, when I pass, I'll meet you there.
Any advice prior to my trip to Vilnius?
All the best

Thanks OscarDeltaBravo :-)
To be honest. I'm really happy to start my training soon.
Is it only the BAA interview with compass you do next week or final interview already ?
What I can advise you, is to be relax, sure of your knowledge and about yourself. The interviewer may be willing to see your reaction under stress. Stay focus and be sure on your position.
Otherwise that's a basic assessment and if you are generally well prepared it should be fine :-)

@ChristianS Isn't the assessment in June?
@pilot_freak The cost of the Wizz cadet program is 58k eur
Here is what I know in general about the program: After you pass the assessment, you will be offered a contract in which they offer you a position at WizzAir if you complete the training properly and, of course, learn all that needs to be learned. They will then deduct money from your pay in the first x years, probably 3-4, and that is how you pay for the TR. They don't offer accommodation, food etc. That's the long story short, basically. Good luck to all.

Skytest , there you have software to prepare for Compass.
Although myself I also did Compass once, and passed without any practice. But of course its is good to prepare. This is a very good careerchance.

Hi Ben,
So far I am not really far in my career. I did normal integrated training in BAA. Overall was satisfied with the training but no job at the end, unless I wanted to p2f.
Now I am about to finish my SSTR B737 300/900. If that will bring me something, I dont know. Time will tell.
But this offer in Wizz is pretty good. At the end you have a job.

Yes you're right. The cadetship really makes it attractive. The academy looks good but without job perspective at the end they don't have the network, a CTC, FTE or OAA could have.
I wish you good luck, where do you do your TR?

Well I do my TR with BAA as well.
BAA Has a pretty big network, it is just mainly P2F. They work also together with AviationCV.
I had two options straight after my training, but I had to say no.
One was P2F in Kazachstan.
The Other one was a Dieing TR for way to much money. And way to low wages.
But overall I am satisfied with the services of BAA. The employees in the Office are always very helpful and respond usually quickly to e mails.

I had a chat with 2 ladies from BAA in November I think. At first everything looked fine I thought would be like a 0 to ATPL scholarship. But they were quite persuasive (the were trying to convince me to get a loan) and that is because is a bad offer in my opinion.
You have to pay a lot of money at once, then they will get the TR from your income and on top of that you were supposed to travel to their office and pay on your own for all the tests and accommodation. Is like a bad joke when you can have all of this modular in Poland, CZ, Hungary...for less what they are asking and paying whenever you have the cash with no loans.

Sorry but you really think, ctc and OAA are going to pay you for the assessment fees, the travel and then the accommodation ? BAA is doing exactly the same except it's cheapest than England.
It is a 0 to frozen ATPL, and about the loan who told you to get one ? Nobody at BAA at least. Obviously it isn't free, but everything is written on previous post.
It's still a lot cheapest than the top 3, and the TR is paid by the airline, then taken upon your salary, once again cheaper than easyJet.
Of course you can go modular to Poland for your training, you're probably gonna save upto 15k eur, but once again you have a letter of engagement with the airline when you do BAA.
It's all about choices, but telling wrong infos on a public forum isn't fare

But do you get job straight out of training Ostrici with Modular via Poland or whatsoever?
Answer: Nope.
With BAA's offer you do have a job after training. In my opinion a pretty good choice.
And if you dont want to invest in travelling for assessment, what do you expect after finishing your modular training somewhere and go for job interview in God knows where? You think airlines will pay for you? Sorry but that is maybe your dreamworld.
That you have to travel maybe a few times for this assessment and interview would be a good investment if you prepare well enough so you may pass whole assessment.
If you dont pass then at least you died trying.
If you pass, you have a good career on useful aircraft.
Up to you what you decide.
If I had that opportunity back then, I would know for what I would go for.
Same sort of programs in UK cost at least 30-60K more.
