@LanfingConfig why did you withdrew your app? I'm still waiting far the email, but, anybody who applied and have a friend who did too, can say if it seems to get emails in alphabetical order?

He was successful with another scheme . I'm pretty sure it isn't in alphabetical order based on the guys I know that have been rejected.

Seems like the first round "massacre" of the vast majority of applicants is still in place, just swapped essays for computer tests. Guess it makes their job much easier, rather than falling asleep reading thousands of essays and getting sore eyes, I'm sure a nice excel spreadsheet can be put together and the results clearly laid out and set to highlight those who passed or failed.

Has anyone gotten a rejection email and also got the email a few weeks ago requesting subjects and grades?

Neither. I didn't think they would send me the email about grades anyway, since I listed my degree.

Just got my rejection. It's your standard thank you for applying to the scheme but Unfortunately we must inform you that you application etc.

I made it to the final interviews the past three years so I'm really annoyed I didn't make it past this stage this time. Ah well, more hard work and effort and hope that it comes around again next year.

Good luck to everyone still in the race!

Unlucky mate. I see your name pop up in all of these threads, just keep plugging away. You'll get your break!

I was also unsuccessful.

I too was rejected. My mate also! I got the email yesterday, he got it this morning.

Congratulations and good luck to everyone who is successful at this stage, I wish you the very best!

For those of you who are unsuccessful, keep going on, its just not your time yet! For a minority, a failure at an aptitude test may very well mean they are unsuited for a career as a pilot. Unfortunately however, aptitude tests don't take into consideration an individuals ability to learn from their mistakes, work on improving their weaknesses and to capitalise on their failures. Just because EI said no to you, doesn't mean you give up. I recall the story of a guy who was unsuccessful for the BA cadetship and ended up as a senior pilot on the RAF Tristar fleet, just one of many stories I hear.

Still no PFO. Surname begins with 'T'. If that helps to understand if its being done in alphabetical order.

I don't think so as mine starts with "A" and I still haven't heard back.
