Well safe to say my first "video interview" experience went awfully.... Who know talking to a computer could be so nerve-racking
I highly doubt I will be progressing to the final round

There really wasn't enough time to expand on thoughts and answer the questions fully. From reading here though I thought it would be a lot worse than it was.
Quite easy in the end, obviously could have done better but maybe only if more time was provided for. I fully expected a 'funny' question to throw you off guard, glad there wasn't.

After doing that video interview i felt it went ok i'd give it a 6/10.
Although after going through it in my head, there are only 4 letter words that spring to mind. I would tell you them but all of you who have already completed the assessment will know those 4 letter words.
Little hint for those who havent done it yet, they begin with F
, S
& C
!
Haha! Good luck to all still to complete and all those who are waiting like me

Well, i guess that was reasonably fun - to a certain extent...
Feel like everything i said was okay - but now wishing i'd mentioned one or two other things! Tough to get right in the time constraint.
Not the most natural experience, but i guess everyone is in the same boat.
Good luck all!

Yeah I did as well, although strangely the confirmation one said they had received my application, rather than confirming I had completed all the videos. But I'm assuming that's what they meant.

I got an email right after the last question thanking me for my application too.
I don't think I did at all well, though not many are saying they did and I'm sure their staff will be aware of things like nerves and the fact it's likely the first time doing a video interview for the vast majority and I imagine they will take this into account.

Massive mix of opinions on how people felt it went. No idea how they are going to judge a pass or not, and even worse because of the huge difference in opinions i have no idea where i think i stand!

I would of thought around the 150 mark personally, but that's just my opinion. Not heard or seen anything relating to numbers as of yet.

I'd say around the 500 mark isn't too far off.
Considering each video interview lasted only 6.5 minutes that's not really that long to sift through all of the answers if you've got a couple of staff working on it.
I've heard the next stage will take 80 forward (16 on each day - possibly 2 groups of 8)... all for 12 places.

Based on previous years, after the first stage it was whittled down to the 150 mark. Considering this year's stage 1 was a lot more comprehensive than simply essay writing, I doubt if it is more than circa 150, as they would actually have gotten a better image of what each candidate's chances of suiting the course are compared to essays, it would seem a waste of resources sitting through 2000 90-120 second videos when you already have a rough enough idea of each candidate's abilities.
Essentially, considering previous years went from 3,000 to 150 applicants based on 4 essays alone, it wouldn't make logical sense that a far more detailed examination would actually leave them with 500 after the first stage. Unless somebody knows something the rest don't.
