Norwegian B737 screening

Hi everybody

I have Norwegian B737 screening test for the begining of Frebruary in Oslo.

i was wondering if someone has already taken the screening and give me some feedback.

I will have :SIM(TBC), HR interviews, Tech interviews, group assessment.

i don't have so much time to prepare for the test ( busy flying schedule and a mum obligation )

i really appreciate if someone give me more details about it.

Norwegian B737 screening

Hi Rose2012,

You are probably in Oslo now but I have a screening in March and wondered much the same thing.

Maybe you could let me and other candidates know what the process is once you're back on here?

Regards

Any news about the interview? Some hints?
When will you have the assessment?

Good luck to everybody

Anyone joining as DE F/O/ or C in July?

The assessment was very pleasant.
Do not stress out over tech or HR,
No SIM required for DE or SSTR.

500 on type soon.

Several nonrated low hours starting courses from April.

E-mail to come for the assessment after a few weeks, positive reply three days on.

What I know is: there are a lot more interviews in April.

When you say 'No SIM required for DE or SSTR' do you mean there is no SIM Check at all for either? I know a SSTR guy who recently had a SIM assessment on some twitchy sim in Oslo.

What did the assessment consist of? Was it just an Interview? I appreciate you are a DE FO so it might be different for SSTR guys

Great news,
I applied around the 17 March.
I got around 373 hours total time, of which more than 200 PIC.
At the moment working as FI.
But I want to look for better since the conditions where are I am now are very crappy.

Hope to get the email soon for a assessment in April.

Any advice on what to study apart from classic ACE and planes manuals ?
What about the SIM ?
Do you suggest any hour before going ?

Thanks

If you don't know the 737,
I guess some theory on speeds and weather.

There is no sim.

I am not rated on 737 but been studying throughly as much as I could on my own.

Now I simply have to wait.
How long is the time from when you receive the email and the day you have to go for interview ?
Because I took leave in April and hope to have enough time to buy tickets or change tickets to go for the interview.

All of this ONLY IF they call me.

Interview was mixed self funded and de.

We were assigned sim slots, then 30 minutes later they sent a new email to both groups of applicants, sim no longer required.

Norwegian is recruiting rated FO and not rated DEC.....
1500 TT with 500 on Type for FO.
FO can also join less than 1500 hours total time if he have many hours on type (is counted double)!

Assessment:
-Compass test
-Group Exercise
-HR&Technical Interview
-SIM

Good luck to all interested.
