Wizzair
well, Ryanair seem to have both regulated contracts with union support in quite a few countries and the opposite in other countries.
A few years ago they were the ones to avoid but it looks like Wizz have taken a very
firm lead on that one although the ultra low cost Ryanair branch, Lauda seem to wanna join in the race.
Tricky isn’t it? Maybe the answer is to not sign a contract that pays you the same wage as McDonalds would do🤷♂️?

Has anyone been to an assessment day holding a now rather defunct UK license? I applied last year prior to the day of reckoning on 31/12/20 and now am unsure whether it's worth the trip to Budapest in a few weeks just to be told to PFO when I had over my docs. Looking at the careers website it does state they want EASA...But am I right in saying though that they have a UK AOC and hence operate some 'G-' reg aircraft? Thanks in advance for any info or guidance.

No idea. However I'd rather drive a delivery van for half of this at home than fly for this outfit somewhere I can't even commute properly.

Being based outside of UK requires the right to live/work in the EU (or that country), and I don't see many European countries issuing work visas for foreign pilots in the near future.

Good morning mate,
It all depends if you want to be based in the UK or not. If you do, you should definitely go since they are looking like crazy for drivers who are legally able to work in the UK for WUK ( too many acs and not enough crew to fly them). If you're looking for other bases in WAH (wizz hungary group) the story will be a bit different and I'm not sure it is worth the trip.
Hope it helped.
