Unfortunately I doubt this is true - they have just started this process and would be a very unlikely to stop so soon. So this is likely to be porkies.
Why would they cease and again start yet another portal and waste time - there will have bee significant investment in time and costs for this set up..... Doesn't make sense......
May happen in a year or so - if the quality of those sent to the sims are poor!
CTC is only doing the selection and Flybe is assessing flying skills - so all fully in FLYBE's control....
HW care to share reasons why?
CTC compared to all the others have been nothing but professional, offensive or rude in my experience. OAA / CAE is different totally underhanded and unfair....

Your assessment on the 30th
Good luck with your assessment on the 30th, I thoroughly enjoyed mine and everyone I met was great, the assessors were superb and very professional. It's a long day but it's worth every minute of it, good luck!

Hello everyone,
I passed the sim assessment and was offered a job. Expect a briefing on the Embraer aircraft and either given the Birmingham or Edinburgh plates. The profile is a raw data SID followed by general handling. Once the assessor is happy with your flying, he will setup the autopilot so you can set the approach. Once you've briefed and setup, you will be radar vectored for an approach to land.
If all goes well, you'll fly for 30-40 minutes. Your landing is assessed and if it's below standard, you'll be pushed back to try again. You will need to show progression or you will fail.
Please do not private message me as I will not answer.

Hello everyone,
When it says "Graduated from a recognized ATO" has to be OAA, CTC or FTE? Or any graduate coming from a different background is welcome to apply?
Also, where is the best place to take a JOC course?
Thanks in advance

Recognized ATO, they don't say partner ATO! Anyway, if you have done your training outside UK your chances are slim (FTE Jerez doesn't count in this statement) . They also have partners with small modulars ATOs such Aeros, BCFT or PAT and now Wingsalliance.

Nonsense
What a nonsense. Thats why i stoped reading this forum because people writing pices of crap like comment above.
I have been invited for assessment a month ago as a modular student 37 years of age and minimum hours. I have done my training in UK and Poland. And also everyone from my assessment were modular students and half of them older than me (10 of us)
So please stop writing unconfirmed crap.

hy,
just an advise, if one date is shown on the website, doesn't meaning that you can request another. Simply ask, sometimes is the better things. I move the mine on 22/08. Good luck at all!

Hi guys,
I got an e-mail from CTC last month to attend for assessment and asking me to book a place on the next available selection date. Have been constantly checking the website for the last few weeks now, practically every day. But whenever I log in I always get the response that there are no places available, please try again later.
Reading back over previous comments it was mentioned that CTC put new dates on the system every week but I'm not seeing any? Should I e-mail them or keep checking or have they stopped doing assessments altogether?
