I doubt anyone on here is going to give an in depth review of what was in the tests so as not to give an advantage to others that they themselves didn't have going into it, but I'd imagine they were pretty standard psychometric tests; ie: maths, coordination, reaction etc.

I would think that, from experience, as calculators are suggested for the numeracy tests, they will be far more complex than the numerical reasoning tests in Pilapt and COMPASS..

CV
Hello,
I am 18 and currently studying towards my A Levels in Northern Ireland. I have always had a passion for flying and it has been my dream to be a pilot ever since I was a child. I only 8 hours in a Cessna 172 so I do have some flying hours, but they are minimal. I was planning on completing my A Levels and then focus on my piloting career, i.e. work for my PPL next year with the money I have received from EMA as I have saved it over the course of the last two years for my PPL.
I believe this cadet programme is a great opportunity so I've decided to apply. On the application, it asks for a CV to be attached. Can the CV just be a standard CV or is there a specific airline layout which is preferred?

Standard CV yeah cover letter just mention why I was applying, I had COMPASS test yesterday, Maths was my only downfall Just not great without a calculator. Aer Lingus test allows a calculator so should do better, even if the questions are harder.

Optional CV
Can anyone shed light on why a CV might be optional? If you don't submit a CV are you at a disadvantage? The fact that it's optional indicates that you wouldn't be at a disadvantage but then why ask for them at all?

CV.....this is a generic Aer Lingus form for application to a post within the company, there's only really one element which is specific to the cadet programme which asks if you have any flying. The cv is not a required attachment, as I was invited to take the online assessment without having submitted one.

Thanks for that aerlingus 23. So is there any point applying with only GCSEs?
I have passed my first seven ATPLs through Propilot, Coventry?
I have also obtained my basic disclosure document?
I passed an assessment at CTC and invited onto the CP9* intake? But had to decline due to inadequate funding?
Look forward to hearing back from you again.
