I'm so sorry cessnaflyer . There are loads of other opportunities coming up over the next year that will get you in that RHS! If you got this far with FPP, then other airlines will grab you!

cessnaflyer - so sorry to hear that; I recognise you from last year's FPP and you've been at this a year longer than I have, so it must hurt to be rejected a third time in a row. Hopefully you have learned from the experience each time.

It may help you to know that of the five of us ppruners that passed the initial paper sift but were then turned down last year (that I know of - including yourself), at least three have managed to get onto cadet programmes since then: funky and I on this year's FPP and LastPastThePost on the 2014 Easyjet MPL. Last I heard of the fifth, hawkeye, he was applying to AirServices Australia as ATC - not sure how that went but my point is that there are always options for a way into the industry and it's always worth giving it another go.

My commisserations to everyone that has fallen at the final hurdle; I am certain that you all have the potential to succeed in this and do hope that we will have the opportunity to work together in the future, either via FPP or a future DEP intake.

Congratulations to everyone that has been successful - sorry to single one of you out (you are all exceptional people), but especially to funky. A sure bet if ever I saw one!

EZY-FR. You are not kidding and if anyone needs a pick me up after receiving bad news. I'm proof, don't give up. This has been 28 years...yes,28 years a dream. I'm 40 today. Thanks to you all for support and encouragement. You're a great bunch of people.

Congratulations to you all, I had my first go last year and with a baby on the way put it on hold for a while but who knows, I am hoping that this will be running for a few more years!

Hi all

Long time reader, first time poster (on this thread anyway).

Massive congratulations to all who have received the good news, and props for your generally positive/supportive internet demeanour. You're an example to all aspiring pilots and PPRUNE users!

Still waiting to hear, beginning to think that they won't be sending all of the emails out until tomorrow. Anyone else still waiting to hear?

Starting to wonder if they're saving all the unsuccessfuls until last, given the high success rate posted on this forum so far. I really hope not......... :s

It pleases me to see so many people with the proper attitude getting places. You've all done incredibly well and deserve this amazing moment!

I would have loved to have shared that success with you all today, but success doesn't come without failure! Hope to join you all in a BA flight deck in a few years!
