The fine print
The interviews are in Kuala Lumpur and out of 60 people that will be interviewed only 16 will be picked. Pay for your own flight to and from KL and there is also a 200USD fee just to send in your application on line.
It's 24 000USD up front and you will be on a 3 year contract.
Merpati is jumping on the Lion Air bandwagon. I know people at Merpati (expat FO's) who didn't pay for anything when they joined.
You will have a useless type rating and probably no job at the end of the 3 years. The monthly pay is semi decent if thats any consolation.
This is very thinly disguised pay to fly.
