Hi guys, a couple of quick questions:

1. Were there occasions when fresh FO's straight out of training been sent to Papua? Any chance to influence it somehow?

2. Why does Susi's questionnaire ask whether you would be cool or not with loosing your $2,500 deposit upon failure of the initial training? If you for some reason fail it, do they keep the money?

3. Couldn't quite understand if they cover your transfer from Jakarta to Pangandaran for the interview these days. Any recent experiences?

4. Those who came through this recently, what was the toughest part of the interview? What needs your attention the most? Do you really need to know the Van inside out (all the systems, fuel, electrics, avionics etc) in order to pass?

Would appreciate any info even if it's just rumours, need it pretty urgent... Thank you

Hi Marshall.

I will direct my friend here who recently got hired. Hipe he will reply. For some questions I can also reply.
Yes they keep the training fees if the applicant fails. However what I Heard it is unlikely since the applicants study really hard for this reason. Plus they want the job so...
What i understood is They only provide the minivan from the nearest airport to Pangandaran. not the cara-van

I wanna apply to FO position on L-410
Thank you..
They have hired for, and filled, the six FO roles they need for now. You must have a locally issued licence to play that game anyway. With a $24,000USD (!!!) bond for the FO job, they are going to struggle to fill the slots anyway, so that may change.

They are also having trouble with validations being re issued after two years. Maybe the cash they are leaving around for the administrators to look the other way isn't enough any more.

Could anyone please confirm if I could log the hours accumulated whilst at Right Hand Seat as P2 hours and if I can claim the hours as multi crew operation.

Many thanks
A quick self search of your local law documents might prove useful.
They are different everywhere.
I know the FAA will let me log towards total time because the COM and OPSPECS here require two crew for all operations.

Interviewed recently and got the job.
Have an account of the experience if anyone wants it?

Just wondering if anyone has sent a resume / been for an interview lately?
.. or if they're hiring FO's at the moment.

I'm in the same situation. Does anybody know if the Cut-E test is the actual Compass Test? Or what is this test about?

Thumbs up

@bhakl, I did the aptitude test and english test through Aero synergy in the weekend. The Cut-e involved around 8-9 test ranging from personality testing, a game similar to ADAPT muti-tasking, monitoring, numerical, reaction speed...just heaps of mini games pretty much. Nothing too complicated.
The free sample test they give you on the Aero synergy website are not very helpful as the test are completely different. Good luck

Smile Susi Air interview

does anyone received invitation for the interview in Indonesia lately? My application was submitted in Mar, and done the aptitude test in the end of May, still waiting for the reply.

Hey There. All I can say is I know how hard it is but be patient. In May, someone resigned who's leaving disturbed the hiring process due to replacement of the person. This caused delays. However Susi is a great company as what I know of, and since it is being Indonesia, patience needed. So, everything seems to be OK with your delay, must be due to this change.
