I think he means that his email is bouncing when sending to the recruitment email address.

Their mailbox is probably full and/or the email server is probably having some issues. Just wait a day or 2 and try again.

Thank You for the answer.

Does anybody knows if they are calling por new pilot?
Is it necessary to be "type rated" on C208?

Thanks

They are short of crew. But if they contact you is pretty random. It is not necessary to be rated on C208B.

Hi all, i'm a rookie just about to send in my resume. As of right now on the Susi air official website, the minimum requirement is 250 hours TT. How about 242? Is this 8-hour shortage going to matter?

To rephrase my question, before my license will be applied for validation, will i have the opportunity to fly those 8 hours during line training etc?

Thank you

P.S. What is a cover letter? Is it really important?

Hey Guys/Gals!

Ive been invited to an interview at Susi air... Just a few questions for anyone that has been through the interview process

1. How many people on average actually get through the process?? (I applied line pilot/Instructor)

2. Do you lose your USD $2500 if you dont get through the interview even if you dont do any flying?

3. How long generally does it take to get a captaincy upgrade?

Cheers all!!

Transportation from Jakarta to Pangandaran

Hi everyone!
I am scheduled for interview on November 22nd, and wonder if anyone else in here are scheduled for the same week and have arranged for transportation from Jakarta to Pangandaran. Susi Air themselves fly from Halim to Cilacap, but have only one flight in the morning, and very little baggage allowance, as it is on the Caravan. Then one needs to get from Cilacap to Pangandaran. Any suggestions?

To answer some questions based on my previous experience at Susi and mates still inside:

1. It varies how many get through depending on the overall standard of that 'batch'. No fixed number although need to replace crew has previously caused a reduction in standards.

2. You don't pay the bond until you are offered the job and start training. If at any point you fail any part of the training, get booted out or resign before the end of the bonding period (2 years after upgrade? i.e. a long time) you won't see any part of the bond back.

3. How long is a piece of string? Anywhere from a few months to 2 years. Getting better now due to the need to replace the large number of captains that have left in the past year or so. So perhaps 1 year. If you end up as a full-time instructor (and FO), don't expect to do much flying normally (that will of course delay upgrade).

4. Transportation - speak to the training admin staff that organised your interview. They will send a car to Cilacap to get you. Any excess baggage you can pay for - it's not expensive.

Wow... I cannot believe it! I send my CV in again last week and received an invitation for an Interview.

I am thinking of taking the 28/11 till 30/11 slot. Anyone else going then?
Also, do most of the Candidates fly from Hamil to Pandangaran or have some taken the bus from CGK to Pandan (Due to budget constraints)?

I only have 238.8 hours... so they do consider candidates with very low hours for any other hopefuls out there!!

What nationality of pilots are the most in this company?
Is there any pilots from China,South Korea or Japan?
Is there any possibility to get the position even if my mother tongue isn't English?

Hello fellow pilots~

I am new on this forum, I guess in the same boat as everyone here, to try to get that foot into the door for that first job.

I hold a FAA Multi CPL, I know Susi asks for Single Commercial. Has anyone applied in the past or present, with the same license I carry and got hired?
