Good non-flying jobs - ideas???
Without getting into detail, it will be a while before I actually start flying professionally... but I would like to stay aviation based if possible.
What are the best non-flying aviation jobs you seen/worked, without requiring extensive specialist training/qualifications? Where are the best websites to look for such jobs?

I cant remember the title, but the guys that do weight and balance for airlines for each flight at airports for example. I know someone who does it and all the training he needed, they gave him at the airport (Dublin airport to be precise). You can do both full time and part time.

THe job title you are referring to is a load controller or dispatcher. There are a number of guys in the airline I work for who were load controllers before they started flying professionally. Its a good way to learn about the operation and get to know the right people in the airline.
Cabin crew can be a good way to get into the flight deck too. Again a number of our pilots were cabin crew before joining the flight deck team.

Well, an airline/airport-related experience is IMO the best choice.
But, if you require a stress-less job, with many contacts in aviation, you could try an AFIS job.
You provide flight information service, and you have MANY opportunities to get drunk with TRI/TRE's, chief pilots, vets etc... who spend a lot of time in your VFR airfield (gliding / instructing ...)
After a few time you build up free hours by give out flight initiations, first flights, people ask you to fly them over remote airfields because ... who doesn't trust a CPL frozen ATPL isn't it ?
