Got my invitation to interview yesterday as well, (I am through FTE) very pleased! However when I log on to the website to book my interview it says there are no slots available... Anybody else having a problem with this?

I went to one of the first assessment dates with FTE and am still yet to hear back from them regarding the outcome of the stage 2 assessments. Has everybody received an e-mail either way from FTE or are others still waiting for a reply?

First week of november
BA is going to review all "round 2"-candidates (in coop with the FTO) and will let them know in the first week of november if they're invited to Heathrow.

I also got an email yesterday inviting me to the final stage at Heathrow (via FTE), but I'm having the same problem, BA's website currently saying there are no slots available.

Sooooo, anyone else waiting on CTC?! However strong I thought my application was, post 886 has made me seriously doubt for the first time that I have made it through to the next stage!
Sad face.

Unfortunately, im in the unenviable category of unsuccessful candidates. I very much hope to re-apply and try again next year. I just wondered if any of those lucky enough to be selected would like to offer any help, assistance and guidance? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. I would love to read successful applications, if you kept a copy, to see ways i can better myself in order to stand a better chance. If you would like to help, in any way shape or form, please do message me. Many, Many thanks in advance, Chris.

Has anybody received a rejection answer from CTC? I know many of us are still waiting while many applicants have been invited for the very last stage...
Do you guys think it is possible that they are not going to take the 80-100 successfull applicants at the same time? I mean, would it be possible that they are going to take some of them now (in order to start the courses soon), whereas they leave some applicants to be assessed in the upcoming weeks (in order to start courses in spring/mid 2012 for instance?

CTC
To anyone else who is waiting (I know a couple of people who are) I just got the 'unfortunately you've not made FPP but please consider the wings program' e-mail this morning from CTC, so it looks like they must be pretty much through the applications now!
Edit:- and just so you know, it hasn't shown up in my BA Recruitment online email folder yet either, as I saw a few people asking that earlier in the thread.

And with the UK rules about type ratings the line pilots are going to be looking forward to silly am sim slots for their 6 monthly checks for the duration.

Without wanting to sound too annoying, I understand FTE have been very efficient throughout the process and I know a lot of people have heard back from them despite the fact I was on the first day of assessments. Is anybody else still waiting for a reply from them?

Has anyone else been accepted via OAA? I just got a good news email and signed up for the 21st November at Heathrow, anyone else?
With each FTO sending their acceptance invites out over different dates I assume each day at Heathrow will be FTO specific?
Good luck to everyone else and for those who didn't make it, I'm no spring chicken so don't worry, there are plenty of opportunities. Keep going and something will crop up eventually!

Run and jump into bitter town?
This maybe a little bit of a desperate post but I've just had a negative response from ctc for the fpp and I'm at a bit of a loss to have not even been given the chance to interview. I'm 23, have 3 As at A Level with both maths and physics, I have a ppl and have done close to 150 hours of flying in the last few years. I had a job offer after my ppl to work as an instructor in the US so did a lot of flying there towards IR and CPL but the school then closed down leaving me without a visa and no money to continue. I explained this on the application. I've been working for an airline for the last two years as cabin crew and was promoted to purser after a year (the minimum time requirement for the job). I'm sure that my application was to a very high standard, I have a few friends working at BA and spent a lot of time with them researching the company standards, values and competitors most of which was used in the application questions.
I know that this is a bit of a begging message but I know I sent a pretty strong CV so I really am at a loss to have not even got to interview stage! Any comments welcome, it would be good to hear from those of you who have been successful as well as anyone who hasn't been given an interview...if you live close enough I promise I'll come over and give you a cuddle! Thanks.

Same here, rejection email from CTC...
PPL, Degree, experience in the aviation field, A's in my Spanish A-levels equivalent (Both Maths and Physics, plus Chemestry and a few others)... I am 22, I think my application was at a very high standard as well.
I dont understand why, I will keep on working in order to achieve my dream, but I think this is a bit unfair, I fear they haven't even had time to screen all the applications...
