BMRR,

It will be the same, but only after the first stage. BA don't become involved in looking at the applications until after the FTO assessments. At least, this is what I've been told by somebody involved.

FTE

A quick one for those who have a FTE invite:

are you having to pay for your assessment day(s)?

For you FPP candidates sharing info..

The following passage appears in BA's FPP website:

Honesty and Integrity

British Airways places high importance on honesty and integrity within its recruitment processes. Whilst we appreciate you may want to discuss your application with friends and family please do not share the details of your application and any subsequent assessments with others, especially those applying for the Programme. Sharing details may compromise the fairness and integrity of the entire selection process. Furthermore, it could advantage other applicants and potentially disadvantage you. It may even disqualify you from the selection process..

Please do not share details of your application with others... especially those applying for the Programme...it may even disqualify you from the selection process."Sorry if you think I'm a pedant but you WILL be assessed on your ability to carry out simple instructions if and when you get to the BA assessment stage!
Oh, and BitMoreRightRudder is 100% correct but for some of you it may already be too late.

Talkpedlar, in my humble opinion most of us aren't doing anything that could compromise this scheme, we are only trying to overcome our anxienties and worries about it, because as all of us know, this is one of those opportunities that rarely appears.Ok,I must admit that there are effectivelly some guys that are using these thread to ask questions that have already been answered somewhere over BA's browser or even in this thread, however, I also have to admit that there are some pretty good posts out here that helps to understand and consequently, be more relaxed about some subjects that are not clear. I hope that everyone continues participating in this thread, thus with caution neither to put in risk the integrity of the scheme nor putting himself in disadvantage regarding other applicants.
Cheers!

I agree. I don't think anything on here constitutes the sharing of details of applications or subsequent assessments.

What BA are trying to prevent is people making publicly available information such as the answers they have put to the 300-word application questions, or details of what happens at the assessment days and interviews.

Saying that you did or didn't receive a confirmation email to acknowledge your application or an invitation to assessment does not compromise the selection process in any way.

Hello everyone. I've been invited also for the assessment (FTE). I've chosen the 17th of september.

Did anybody contacted BA/FTE about retrieving a Letter of Comparability, and received a reply? I will send them an e-mail right now, because I'm unable to retrieve the Letter of Comparability before friday. Besides, I finished a Law study (Master) and business administration study (Bachelor), so I think a Letter of Comparability isn't needed for this subjects. Do you think I'm right?

I'm also pleased that I've been invited, but I'm not really charmed about the date of the assessment. The math stuff from FTE is pretty tough, so I need a pretty extensive preparation.

I got a question for those that got a invite.

Can you please tell me quick if you see your invitation under "your emails" when you log in at BAs recruitment site (where you see your complete application).

I ask because there seems to be a problem with my email address and i never got a email from BA that i sent my application and i also can not have my password emailed to me

BUT i do see the emails that i should have gotten when i log in at BAs site.

Oha veeeery interesting, so this week FTE, next week FTE and the week after CTC it seems(two weeks too maybe??), or do you think that two schools might do their assesment in the same week? Personally i do not think so but i could be wrong of course.

One. Mine is from 8.30 am till 15.00 pm the 17th of september. After passing this test, you'll get invited for an assessment at BA at Heathrow. This might be a lot of group excersises and extended interviews, as shown at my personal site at BA Careers.
