If you really must sign up to one of these terrible schemes, try Eaglejet. At least you might get some flying for $47000. Would not be nice to lose that amount of cash with nothing to show for it.....just a thought. Heard nothing but bad press about these guys.

SPEEDVDRAG: - Sri Lanka.
He paid $2500 before he arrives in Miami for his A320 TR/Base Check and 300 hr line training.
Upon receipt of his $2500, we sent him his M-1 visa, applied for his TSA and paid the fee, and after he arrived we proivided him 2 days of gound school and 1 sim session in the A320.
When we asked him to pay to start his A320 TR with a reputed TR organization in Miami then he stopped his training and him and his father said that they can pay after he completes his training, this is not what we agreed, (send me your e-mail addresses and I will forward you the whole conversation and the agreement we had with this chap)
Where on earth that pilots pay after completion of the training? specially when you are in a million dollar training program?
Usually every pilot has to pay 50% of the training cost prior to start their training, since this chap said he has some money issues we gave him a relief by asking him to pay 20% from the training cost.
After we have gone through all his paper work, prepared his M-1 visa, TSA and paid for all that + 2 days of ground school and 1 sim session in the A320, he is asking for his $2500 back, so is it fair?
That's all the money he gave, and he never had the money to pay for the rest of his training, so how can that be our fault? if he doesn't have the money for his training, he shoudn't have come here in the 1st place.
These type of pilots will never fly, bad attitude, bad flying skills, bad knowledge.
These are the reasons that they are not flying.
Don't you think we can pretend to be students and post 100's may be 1000's of good comments about GPTC, if we want to? we don't need to do that, because Pprune can't stop geuine pilots who have the passion for flying coming into our program.
Now you decide who is right and who is wrong?
Thank you all.

Who is LKA17??? What is this? Do you want me to send you my CV and invite you to my house for tea?
No one either Global Pilot Center or Eagle Jet forcing anybody or pointing a gun to your face to pay the money and enroll for the program.
If you think these guys are scammers, then stay away, stop crying out loud in here.
The name Pprune say's it all, RUMOUR!!! if anyone here knows what it means.
So if you can't afford the program STOP being jealous trying to STOP other's who has money and wants the FAST track , if you can't afford this prgram take the traditional path.
And for those who are looking for time on type A320 go to GPTC and for those 737 guys go to EJ.
Real airlines don't hire? There are no fake airlines pal. You are just a kid when it comes to aviation and may be other things as well (15 yrs old).
No airline will hire without time on type, so you figure it out how you going to do that. Defenitely not pilots like you.
You can't log the time you spent in here in your log book
There will be no end to these arguments, so long people.

I cannot believe
that there is still people defending PAY TO WORK schemes. Many customers with 300-500 PAID hours in the logbook are at home UNEMPLOYED, and they were sent home to make room for new customers.
PAY TO WORK pilots you have ruined this job and profession.

This is one of the best threads I have read in ages. One guy pretending to be someone praising a PTF company and the same guy posting as that PTF company.
It is so obvious, same bad grammar, same way of talking and this is meant to be coming from someone wanting you to invest 1,000s $ training with them!!!!
Another clue is both posters have the same immature manner of saying things like they will never be a pilot or how childish someone is :-) I hope you die a slow and painful death. :-)

Establish facts.
Get it in writing.
Are there any line training slots to even sell?
Are staff members having to inhabit Miami's NW 36th street hotels err, managing the expectations of extremely hacked off students?
Are staff members spending night after night explaining to existing students that there are no line training slots available no matter how much money they may have?
Is the holy name of Stan uttered in every other breath and that he will arise and go unto the Bahraini's and will return triumphant with a deal for line training slots?
And finally, ask why Global feel the need to pay for ex students to come back to America and make supportive posts from Global's internet connection. Unless of course our Sri Lankan chum is so happy with the service he flew back on his own dollar just to help.
Perhaps not then.
Regards to all,
Rob

Oh dear, within 45 minutes of me posting this LKA17 / Global Admin had deleted the posts. Soon put a stop to that.

I rather think I answered the honourable gentleman's question at the top of this page.
GPTC removed posts in a startling reversal of that penultimate paragraph they have written above.
The truth is the truth and I personally sat there listening to errr, expectations of there being any line training available being 'managed.'
In other 36th Street news, I'm told two other Miami jet ratings schools have merged - Pan Am and Aeroservices. I use the word merged as I don't have definite details of the financial aspects. It was expressed to me as a Pam Am buy out/takeover and coffee room scuttlebut had suggested some degree of financial stress leading up to this news.

Global Pilot training Center
hello Everyone,
I was also considering the A320 type/line training program at Global Pilot Training Center,, so far I've left about 10 voice messages and 5 emails to inquire about the program,,(costs, elegibility, future hiring prospects,,etc) yet neither the Admissions Officer nor the Manager will return my calls or reply to me emails??? Its been very frustrating and definately makes me a little worried about what kind of business they are really running??? and do I really want to invest in a company that wont even return my calls???
Can anyone help me understand this organization ?? And/Or recommend someone else.
Thanks,
S

sgosain, 10 voice, 5 e-mails and your still interested in this company and you want help to understand this organisation? You need to get a grip man....
My advice has always been with contacting companies, try once or twice and after that don't bother anymore because they aren't.
Don't spend any money on aviation. Keep what license you have current and wait, simple as that, and as the pool of pay to fly dries up then airlines need to hire and work with pilots, not see them as cash cows.
Still have friends with time on type who are still not working, and thats with over 500 hours on type.
But, its your money and thanks to open forums on the internet you can learn lots and spend your money how you want.
Good luck
