Qatar Airways 2nd Officer Selection

Don't know much at the moment, but I have a chance at this in a few weeks. There's a lot of bad rep on Qatar Airways around here, I've seen it, but my choice is basically Qatar SO, or directly pay my way into Ryanair.

Can anyone enlighten the situation on being a SO with Qatar Airways? ie. living is Qatar, TR bonding, working conditions, pay etc.

Much appreciated.

Jakenape

I have a few friends who would be interested to know what the requirement were for you to apply. Is it a cadet thing or have you already got a Frozen ATPL. Can you PM me the link for the application link.

When and where is your interview

By the way, just tried to send you a PM and I cant for some reason?

Why do you need to provide Passport number for all family members to Qatar?

(on the application)

I didn't apply for it, I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Frozen ATPL with 200 piston hours, and a good report from a good school.

The guys who were selected have already been notified, so you can't apply for this one.

Anyone with an ear in HR knows the crux from here on?

Qatar SO selection

Hey Franck,

I actually have the same question about the way you got the email. I spontaneously sent my CV to Qatar mid-January and haven't heard from them since then.

Thanks a lot for your reply.

I would also like to know how you got the e-mail sent to you, and any other details would be appreciated.
And good luck with the interview/assessment.
