Hi, I just joined the forum because I found out I have been invited to phase 3. I have read a lot on this forum about phase 3 and it seems that apart from technical brushing up a lot of it is just down to me and it seems that it will be difficult to fool the examiners into believing you are something you are not. I have a degree in Aero engineering so I have a good technical knowledge. Could anyone give me any tips or advice on how to do my best on the day? I'd just appreciate knowing a bit more about what to expect. I know a pilot who told me not to worry and like the aptitude tests you either have it or you don't. I desparately want to give this the best shot I can so any help would be great. Thanks!

That is not true as far as I know, I go to NZ with CTC next month and all my finances are with HSBC and the loan is unsecured. I find it hard to believe that CTC would change banks as it would be against their ethos of the CTC wings scheme being an affordable way to becoming a FO.

phase 3 on Dec.19th
I have my phase 3 next Wednesday Dec. 19th at Bournemouth. Anyone else there? If you want to PM me or just reply, we could meet up and get people in the group to know each other before the group exercise. Good luck everyone!

not going to be easy
hey to all. just got started on here. abot 2 days ago isent all my info to ctc. from the email sent back to me they say they get in contact with u if u do in fact pass on for phase 2. what do they really look for? i mean im actually an interior designer. the only pilot experience i have is pilot glider training, and i only manage to do about 5 hours, didnt have the funds to keep my training going. was a good experience over all, but didnt really get too much out of it. they do say that u dont need to have past experience to be considered, still im sure this is taken into consideration. i feel like i have alot against me at the moment being that im not even english or european. im latin, from south america. to manage to become a pilot i really need financial help, cant manage alone. i am at the moment in london but will be heading home end of january, so thats not going to help very much. what do u all think?
