You're receiving a lot of information in a short period of time, which made it hard, but since they're mostly testing your English language don't worry too much

For me the call was just to collect some information and to invite me to the assessment. As I'm Dutch the call was fully in Dutch, so they couldn't have assessed my English skill haha.
For me it was just a friendly call where I was asked a bit about myself, but before they asked me any information that could have been a criteria I was already invited to the assessment.

Everyday I see you all people eager to join Ryanair and accept the crappy T&C they are giving you, with the hope that in a couple of years you can move on to a better airline.
Do you really not realise that by accepting this T&C from Ryanair you basically allow them to dictate the T&C across the industry?
Also I am sure that you are all aware that at the moment Ryanair has a crew problem and a golden opportunity has presented itself where the crew are trying to improve the terms and conditions in Ryanair.
Since you are now also part of this industry you should do your part and help the people trying to improve the T&C. You can help by not joining Ryanair right now, wait few months until the issue is solved and then if you are happy with the T&C go ahead and apply. By joining now you are basically saying to the people working to improve the T&C to off.

If you have 40k+ to pay Ryanair for the job, you can afford to wait for few months and give the Ryanair crew a stronger hand in demanding better T&C.
There are literally lots of jobs out there for experienced and inexperienced pilots. I heard that a few months ago a school in Canary Islands had to stop operations because they had no instructors. Also my former school are desperate for instructors. Look for a general aviation or instructor job and if you have a clue of what you are doing you'll find a job.
Or those jobs are beneath you? You only fly Boeing or Airbus.

Do you even know what are Vueling, Swiftair, Air Europa Express, Volotea paying to few hours pilots? Instead of saying about RYR you should look what are the real options new pilots have. (I'm speaking of the Spanish because is the one I know)
Is it bad just wanting to fly those? Says who? I'm going to become a grown up man carrying a single engine plane build 40 years ago?
I do not understand this moral superiority that some of you have when you already have the work and your life done and come here to criticize people who just want to be able to live.
On top of them, you are blaming us for something that those who are currently flying have allowed and permit, we just met this , we have not been given any choice but to adapt to what there is.
Of course every RYR pilot after doing their 4 daily sectors they run to find the best spots to beg on the stairs of the churches so they can eat something hot...

Didn't Titan Airways and Thomas Cook hire low hours pilots this summer and they funded the type rating?
I also saw other airlines hiring this year and although I don't know the exact conditions, they were not asking to pay for the type rating. If people continue to decline the current hiring practices by the airlines, more of those schemes will be available. Luckily for us, at the moment there can't be an airline without pilots.
Why do you think those airlines you mentioned manage to get away with those T&C? It's because of people like you, accepting those T&C so they won't be a "grown up man carrying a single engine plane build 40 years ago".
I am not here to argue with you acc3p7 or anyone else, I just want to say my piece.
If you want to join Ryanair now go ahead and do it, nobody can force you not to. But when you start complaining about the T&C look in the mirror and know that you allowed this to happen.
