Erm.....that you can pay for it? On a serious note I would guess they would expect you to have done some research into available loans if you don't have a bank account full of monies.

Goodmorning everyone.
I wonder if anyone could give me the information regarding EASA Validations and 3rd Country Licences.
Let me explain, I'm 24 I live in the States and I Work for one of the many Regional Airlines.
Recently I noticed that Ryan Air by IAA could release a validation license for one year during which I should do the ATPL 14 written and at the same time allow me to fly in the EU.
If anyone had any information to share I would appreciate.
Thank you!

Hi,

The e-mail says the assessment will take place at Ryanair HQ in Dublin, but it does not provide any adress. I guess it is the building in the Airside Business Park.

I have some questions about the documents that must be brought to the assessment, if someone can help please:

· Anyone from Spain has officially translated the passport? (titles are in Spanish, English and French)
· We are instructed to bring our logbook, do they need copy of the whole logbook or just the last two pages as stated later in the e-mail?
· Where is the "application form"? in the "briefing pack" I haven't yet received?

On the other hand, what does the "Briefing pack" contain?

I booked the "Premier Inn" by the way.

Regards!

Don't worry, you will get the briefing-pack a couple of days before your assessment. Premier Inn is only a couple of houndred meters away from Ryanair HQ. When they clearly state that they need the last two pages of your logbook, that's what you bring, together with the logbook itself. Good luck!

What is a correct action when you have a smoke in cabin or there is a fire in a toilet? I have never had anything like that on my MCC.

There was a rumor in this thread five years ago, that guys older than 30 years had practically no chance to get invitation to assessment by Ryanair.

There is another rumor now, that hiring situation has not been better than now, so I would like to ask if I have a chance to get to assessment now. I turned 30 a few months ago and had to repeat one ATPL theoretical exam (practical CPL/IR skill tests passed on the first attempt). Moreover my English is not perfect, as you can see.

Is here anyone familliar with current situation? Thank you for your remarks.

Not at all, I Know people over 30 being assessed and got positive news as well!
The period is really the best one, as they still need people to cover the pilots lacking they had!
English perfection is not required, it's enough the operative level ICAO 4!
ATPL I knew people pass an assessment with 3 fail in they're exam, so don't worry about that, they look for all the general background of a candidate, not the single items!

Hope it helps!

Do you apply via Ryanair or CAE on the programme selection page for the cadet scheme?
