Looking for feedback: received the call 11 days ago which was upbeat and promising. At the end I was told to expect an email with the result. From what I've seen in the forum it is usually sent after a few days but this does not seem to be my case.

Does anyone have anything to contribute to this please?

In my case they said immediately the result of my phone interview and they will give you even the date of the assessment.

Hi colleagues!

Just have received the good news, I passed the interview!

My contribution to this thread:

First applied 6th June
First response 16th June
Few days later - phone call interview, she told me that i passed and offered me 1st July which i was unable to attend so next call in one and half week with 20th July offered.

20th July:
I started with the technical/HR interview.

All the HR and technical q. are in this thread, except one (maybe it is here either):
Why does the horizontal stabiliser have opposite airfoil design to the wing?

Then the sim part:
EGGP(Liverpool) 27 WAL2T
Amended clearance - turn ...deg at xxNM, climb XXXXft.
Some exercices with climb, descent, acceleration, deceleration.
Position fixing, QDM interception.
Then briefing - how to enter holding pattern and app briefing. During holding - an emergency with sick passenger. Then ILS app and landing.
Same for my SIM buddy.
We both made some mistakes but we were both successful.

Then a long wait for the results and today finally a positive answer!

Good luck to everyone, and stay positive!

I got a call today from the lady from CAE, and she asked me a few questions about my licences & flying hours and then she told me "oh nice you would like to work for Ryannair that's good, I will email you in appx one week" but she haven't told me about any assesment day, what should I think ? does anyone got invited to the assesment by email ? ... i'm kind of like "maybe i did wrong"

I said in this post in the previous page I would attend the assessment on July 25th but it was postponed to 15th August.

Regarding the text call, I had a very friendly and quick call confirming my minimum requirements and some expiry dates for licences.

The English test was short, like 5 or 6 sentences - initially I didn't quite understand some parts of the text so the interviewer kindly informed he would repeat it for me. After that I finished answering about 5 to 6 questions if I remember it correctly.

Best regards,

André Franco
