If you did... Have you said them that you have attended already one assessment?

Thanks a lotĦ
You can apply a second time and get the job. But don't lie. When you receive the 1st email, they already know that you attended the assessment once.

I will do my intro and TR as well in EMA(June).

Any good accomodation suggested. Stayed recently in the Radisson at the airport. Are we getting good rates with RYR there?

Some other places suggested? I am non TR so will stay there for 12 weeks....

Thanks!

Positive Feedback

Assessment: 24th February. Email Last Friday: Positive. Initial date to start 2nd May in EMA and 6th June in AMS, but waiting for date in April.
Any difference between EMA and AMS???
I applied last year but I was rejected. Last December I Introduce my info again and I was contacted for the phone call.
34 years old and Around 270 hours.
Assessment is as you can read in the previous messages.
They don´t want F/O, they want Captains. So prepare your assessment in the best way and keep calm and enjoy it.

Post APPLICATION UNABLE TO PROCEED

Hi all

My application was sent in summer 2015 and not to long after I had to send an email with my CV and answer some basic questions.

The application was succesful to proceed and my CV was sent to the airline for approval. No phone call but an email shortly after:

"Good morning,

Thank you for your recent application for a position on the Boeing 737-800 (Ryanair) type-rating program.

Your application has been reviewed, however, we regret to inform you that your application will not proceed to the next stage in the selection process.

Due to the number of applications received for this program it is not possible for the airline (or CAE) to provide additional feedback regarding your application."

I guess that you do not win the lottery if you get an email like many state here or a phone call. There is no guarantee you will be invited for assessment.

Still I'm not giving up.

Is April good date for application?

Hello!

I have a doubt... in the months of June, July, August Ryanair calls for interviews? I'll finish the MCC in April and I don't know if applied before on the web or wait. What is the best time to apply to Ryanair?

Thanks and good luck to everyone!!

HI,

By applying CAE online you need to tick the MCC* box YES/NO its necessary to have it done, I will wait until you have it done, that's my recommendation I did my self MCC/JOC and then I apply on.

Hi All !

First good luck to everyone here.

I have been contacted by CAE on February 23rd, I replied and sent my CV two days after. They got back to me this afternoon with this answer :

CV sent to RYR for approval_application kept on file

"Good afternoon,

Thank you for submitting your application to the Boeing 737-800 NG Type-Rating program (Ryanair), conducted by CAE.
Your application was sent to the airline for approval, and we have received feedback.

The airline advised us that at this point your application is not rejected but will be kept on file until further notice.

Due to the number of applications received for this program it is not possible for the airline (or CAE) to provide additional feedback regarding your application.

We will contact you as soon as the situation has changed."

Did someone get the same answer ?

As I read the last questions and answers of the last days on this forum, they seem kind of busy so, obviously I know I should wait longer, but I just wanted to share with others to know how much time you have waited for RYR to contact you again (if someone had the same answer).

Happy landings

Hi JohanP,

Thank you for your feedback on this, I think that it means we are rejected
Unless someone proves otherwise...

I have waited 4 years to finally get an answer from CAE, and finally just to tell me I am on a waiting list ...

Wish you all the best !

Happy landings

Almost same answer as I got JohanP but my application is not kept on file. However I re-applied again.

I don't think we may get an answer as to why the application is not continued and we can't even get an interview. It says clearly: Due to the number of applications received for this program it is not possible for the airline (or CAE) to provide additional feedback regarding your application.

hey TheOne83

a few months ago a received the same email you received. So when you re-applied you made a new account and delete old one(is this even possible) or you just made an update of your existing account?

Cheers

Hi Spartaguy13

Actually when I try to log in on the CAE website with last application details which didn't get considered for an interview invite I can't log in any longer. However I created a new one and after doing so in January I saw also that the application form and layout had changed. Much more simple and clean to fill in. Perhaps they just cleaned their database back then, who knows.

If I was you I would just apply again since you never got considered for an interview either and it didn't say anything of application being kept on file. I guess they can't invite everyone so they also have to say no to some of us. Unfortunately we got selected and never got an invite.

Flight school report for Ryanair Assessment

Hey Guys,
I want to apply for a job at Ryanair as F/O and I´ve read that you need a flight school report. Unfortunately I don´t exactly know what this is. Is this a kind of reference letter? Could someone help me out and explain what exactly this is?
Thank you very much

Hi PiperPilot

I guess it's not a reference letter, if so they would simply ask for reference letters?

A flight school report is supposed to be a detailed report on each part of your training and performance.

Which courses you did there etc.

Finally a brief comment stating that you have completed your training at your flight school with out any problems
