Hi guys and girls!
I had my assessment last week in Dublin, and it was just like all the other guys said.
Interview:
HR: basic questions about my work experience, are any of my family members into aviation, pick three bases
TECH: what is clearway, stopway and screen height; about my MEP airplane on which I passed my ME/IR exam - electircal system (generators and batteries) and about the engines; where does a swept wing stall first and what can we do about it; which planes have a stick pusher; how many seats does the 737 have.

SIM we had Dublin and liffy departure, some vectors and speed changes, then the assessor freezzed the sim and asked me where we are. Then Toilet fire and vectors to ILS - landing

Hope it helps! Everything was really relaxed and they are looking for your knowledge, not holes in it Got a positive call
Cheers!

Anyone experienced this?

Had my email with the three dates regarding the telephone interview, 8 hrs after sending off my CV.

Well the date has passed and had no call.

My phone was switched on, it was working , I even had family call me from three different countries to ensure it works.

I had three different contact numbers on my CV and still no attempt was made......

Any thoughts on this?

From Crewlink have contacted my references, how long time does it usually take until they have completed the backgroundcheck?

And have you guys heard of anyone being rejected after Crewlink have done their research?

Depends a lot how quick your references get back to them. I don't know anyone that failed, unless you've got unspent convictions and didn't tell anyone, however guess the process is painful. I work in a UK airport and it took me nearly 2 months to get everything sorted for a full pass. If you are based in the UK, with a criminal record without references, you can get at least a temporary pass for 1 month

I heard recently that now RYR only invites Belgians that are CAE graduates.
Does anyone know wether this is true? If so, it'd be quite sad for me..

PrivatePilotDA40NG, as for years CAE/OAA students get preference for interviews. These will be guaranteed interviews if they meet the "hidden requirements regarding retakes on exams". You could still give a try do the MCC course in CAE seems to give you the same privilege.

Hi guys and girls, can I ask how long it normally passes from when you submit your cv to when they call you? They aks to me the cv 5 days ago.
I don't know what I have to do, because I have an assessment with Cockpit4u next week for Germania (tr+lt). I waited for ryanair 4 years.
Thanks!
