This is more about the assessment day itself though, right? I can't see anything relating to the online tests from the first search result, for me it was flightdeckfriend

Nice! Pretty much what i've been doing, i did my MCC in a 320 so hoping it isn't too difficult to perform in the 737 there

Yes, I agree, I suggest to purchase the PMDG, it's a very good product !
Download all the SIDs on the preparation website, and try 10 times each of them, it's very usefull.

Is there a specific website you are referring to?

Goes anyone does know if not doing Ryanair APS MCC leaves you at a disadvantage? Is it much more difficult to succeed the assessment? My school giving just normal MCC and for me to go to do the RYR APS MCC as a second MCC will be too expensive, is it really necessary?

It is not necessary and I doubt you will have any advantage at all (except for the fact that APS is generally done on a 737-800 sim, exactly the same sim RYR uses for their assessments). But they don't expect you to know how to fly a 737 and 80% of what you learn on the APS course is useless for the assessment.

It could be an advantange for your preparation of course, because you'll do 40 hours in an identical sim like Ryanair one, instead of 28h in a "generic" sim, but i think it has no priority on the assessment.

I have a firend of mine with the APS that failed the test, and some other with the common MCC/JOC passed.

Sorry if I'm saying this, but is not very good to do the assessment without any preparation in regard !
There are 2 famous website where you can pratice a lot, personally I kept praticing every day for a month, before applying.

There some "games" exercise where they want to test your monitor / multitasking / reaction ability.
After there will be 30 random ATPL questions (no calculation, or maybe some very easy).

Then the Video interview (you'll have 3 questions and 1 minute each to answer).

I'm my opinion (that's my point of view), the "game" part of the assessment is only the 20% of importance.
Focus on the video interview, dress yourself well, be decisive when speaking.
And, I think, ATPL questions are also quite important, as they want to see if you are able to remember what you have studied previously.

Any feedback for the actual interview? Does anyone know if they ask actual atpl questions if you didn't have 1st pass on all subjects?

It's random with questions, most of them (except ones about 737 maybe) you already saw during atpl training.

PS. Empty your PM inbox otherwise I can't reply.

Cheers
