Hi Jamie - I wouldn't worry about it. I uploaded a document in the last 24 hours and had no issues.

After that you have 3 weeks back at home to study. After those 3 weeks you start your Type Rating training that last 7/8 weeks. It also says on the email to expect your line training to start right after that and to last 5/6 weeks.
Contract will be sent 6/8 weeks before your course start date, and payment has to be done 4 weeks before course starts.
They also advise to apply for Irish licence ASAP as it might take a while, and you need to have a valid Class 1 Medical and ME/IR on day 1 of introduction.
I have to ask something dumb here: You need to have a valid ME/IR but how about ME(L)?

Just had an email saying unable to proceed with application.

Gutted

No reasons given

Not sure what to do now. All my application seem to be failing.
I have professional C.V and good scores and passes in everything

Think my age( 45) is a factor

Anyone else got the rejection email

Hey guys,

Short story: in April 2017 I went for my very first interview, with Ryanair, and failed it. Since then I improved the aspects that made me failed and succeed a three steps interview with SunExpress with the promise to start my career with them, but without any planed date (I am expecting end of 2018 beginning of 2019).

Today I received a new invitation for a Ryanair assessment process. I am wondering if I should consider it again, knowing everything happening there.

I truly believe that SunExpress has way better advantages even though the TR is at the same price. I am just wondering what you could think about it ?

Is the cadet program offered to everyone ? And what would be the salary ?

Hi Girls and Guys,

I've just realized there was a typo in my CV that I have recently uploaded to the CAE site. I have already submitted my training request, does anyone know if I can update the new one and if perhaps that will cause my application to be put at the back of the pile per se?

Hi Pedro,

As far as I’m aware it doesn’t change the position of your application by updating documents, as I updated my cv and I waited about a month for a response. At my assessment the average wait for everyone there was about month between submitting the training request and a call.

Hi, I’ve updated my CV after submitting a TR request but this fact didn’t stopped CAE from sending me „call in 14 days” mail in normal period of time.

Right after Base Check, you sign a training contract of 6 months. That contract has a basic gross annual salary of £21,000, paid monthly. Once you finish training, you go straight to normal F/O salary (training doesn't last 6 months). During your bond, there's no salary reduction. The training cost is not deducted from your salary. You only pay if you leave earlier than 5 years. Standard bond contract just like any other airline would do, with the only difference that you pay 5000€ as well as for accommodation and transportation during training, uniform, license conversion and company ID. I would round up to about 8000€ total price for entry.
