I did an assessment with Ryanair two years ago and was unsuccessful, at the time they said I could reapply again in 12 months. Do you know if they are only interviewing people who have never done an assessment before or am I in with a chance? I'm an FO with a turboprop airline now with a lot more time and experience than I had last time, but I want to advance my career.

Don't think I have met any F/O's recently started or in the 3 years I have been here either that have any previous experience, its all cadets or just G/A flight instructing experience, I would be hesitant about handing money for another assessment as it could just be water down the drain.
But you never know, Good luck in the career.

Thanks for the info zerotohero, that is as I feared. Unfortunately getting on to the jets from turboprops is so much harder these days than it used to be. I'll just wait and see what happens. I put in a fresh app with BFSAA yesterday, if they call, they call, if they don't then I'll just keep looking.

Can anyone help, I applied via CAE, I received an email from Charlotte asking to send my CV to her, so she can forward onto ryanair, is this the normal process. How long could you expect to wait before you get the call

Lucky you?
I've been waiting for 7 months for an email like that and still nothing.
If she asked you for the CV to be sent to Ryanair it shouldn't take very long until you're called for an assessment.
Good luck
