I already took those costs in consideration before applying, so no, I won't be happy if they don't contact me and if anyone feels happy when the employer doesn't answer, well... that guy has issues!

I paid 15500 for my TR that is incl. CL and NG AND Hotel PLUS base training. That is something different then FR.

Then after 3,5 years CAE called me and asked what my situation was. I said well, I just obtained my 737 Rating... The friendly lady, asked me then, well are you still interested to work in FR? I said yes, but NOT when I have to REDO B737 Rating all over again for the grandstand price of 30K. I said, I HAVE TR737 rating so if they are in such a big need then they should take me on, but that was NOT possible when you dont have hrs on type. So then my answer was Thanks but NO Thanks.

And what next? Have you got a job? It's ridiculous if they did not taken you:/ already trained person who need only few hours in simulator to catch up FR procedures and job done. I am still applying but so far no answers and how are you P40Warhawk?

Well, you would say so, but no they are not interested in rated guys like me with little experience on type.

If the need would be as high as they say it is, then they should invite me, but they will not at the moment.

Anyway. I continue. Things are moving. Soon I have an assessment in another airline. Hope I pass and get the job.

Damn... My 14 days are today April 21. I will wait until Monday, otherwise I will fly away. It's so weird when some people receive the call in 2 or 3 days and us, nothing at all... Feels so unfair =/

Does anyone have his interview next thursday?

( I had the phone call last week, pretty much the same as said in this thread, questions about my licenses and a little text followed by 4 questions)

They state that they need around 850-1000 pilots, well if they are in such a need, WHY do we have to pay what 350 quid for assessment and 30K for TR which should cost not more then 15-20K???

Because obviously, and unfortunately, they can get that number of pilots even under these conditions...

I understand that, but we need to stop accepting these toilet T&C's.

We deserve a lot more respect. We worked hard to get our licenses.
Why can PAX fly for 7 euro from Manchester to Venice? And we pay 350 quid for Assessment, 30 K for TR, pay for airside pass, Uniform, our own Linechecks and Simchecks?

Hi guys!! I got the email from CAE on Wednesday morning and the call on Thursday afternoon. As far as I read here was a normal call.
Some questions about my licenses and expiring dates, hours as PIC, class 1, etc. Then she read me a text twice about the maintenance logbook of the plane, and as she had an strange accent was great that she read it twice, then some question about the text and that was it. Then told me she was going to send the the results to the airline and someone was going to call me next week. I've been reading here that some guys received the date for the assessment on the same call, others a few days later and others never heard from them again. So, fingers crossed . Did anyone receive the call this week?
