Hey, has anybody else got their induction at East Midlands on the 4th of February and type rating starting on the 18th of February also at East Midlands?

Would be good if anyone starting on these dates could get in touch so we can try and arrange accommodation with some of the other guys on the course.

important question about phone interview

i'm sorry i'm new on this forum (i've never been on a forum before in my life)

i have a question:

the 13 of nov i received an e-mail that says to send my cv, done it!
after 2 days i received another mail where it was written to keep myself ready for a call (you know everything i don't wanna bore you) ok, until now the call has not arrived, have passad away exactly 2 weeks.

can you help me to understand?

what is the waiting time?

@ serenimattia: for me it took 4 days between the e-mail and the call (8 days later the assessment). I guess it differs a bit.

I start with the introduction the 28th of january in EMA

I've been called a couple of days ago, exactly two week after CAE informed me that they were going to send my CV to RYR for approval. My assessment is booked for January 8th. My brother received the call and was invited in Stansted too. Finger crossed.

Does anybody know if that telephone interview is a formality or not?

I got a call two days ago, where i was invited to the assessment day on the 16th oh January. They told me they would send me an email the day after (yesterday) with more information regarding the assessment, but i havent recived it yet, how long did you have to wait to recive your email?

Guys, from a current contractor FO based in one of the biggest continental base and flying 60 hours in the summer and 30 in the winter....please think again about what you're getting yourselves into.
All of the bases are over crewed of FO in a desperate effort to lower TC's for everyone.
