In the years before the JAA you had to take a separate exam for each performance group. Thus you might have passed exams in Performance A, C, E or U (if memory serves). If you passed JAA exams just put 'JAA Performance', it covers all the old groups.

I've been told that it means list results for:

1. Mass & Balance
2. Aircraft Performance
3. Flight Planning

These make up the old 'Performance' exam.

AW is correct.
To expand a little:
Each aircraft fell within a certain performance group and in order to have that aircraft on your licence one had to have passed the performance examination for that type of machine.
An ATPL required Performance A. which was a graph interpolated examination on a Tristar. Performance A used to cover one for all lesser performance groups, the categories of which were based on aircraft weight.
In the old days such a question would simply have meant that a prospective employer wanted to know that you had passed the relevant performance examination for his operating aircraft.
Performance A in particular was a bit difficult and I seem to remember that it was a Pass/Fail subject and that if you failed, you had to rewrite the ARBs again as well. It was a bit of a convoluted nightmare.
