your a cocky little lad aren;t you? My advice for the next stage is to shed that attitude. Lets hope that you edit your post before the selectors see it. Wont be hard for a bit of detective work will it?

Now now lads. No need to be harsh.

I wasn't insinuating that my winging it would mean any further progress. It's all about positive thinking. Certainly won't be cocky - that's not me. It's a fine line between confidence - which I think I'm entitiled to - and cockiness.

If I'm good enough I'll get through. If I'm not I won't. I'll be giving it everything.

God help me.

Cheers
Mark

Should have added - any advice greatly appreciated, whether you think I am cocky sod or not!

Cheers

Stage 2

Hi

I am doing the stage 2 part shortly in a few weeks.

Reading from the website I know you have to do tests.

Does anyone have a chat with you at the stage 2 phase?

Reason I ask is that I have a JAA PPL, almost 150 hours with my CPL C/C complete and almost 30 hours on Complex singles.

Also about to do a brush up course with Bristol in a few weeks for Mod 1. That may change, depending on stage 2.

Cheers

Sean

Forgot to ask, what were the tests like?

Where they computerised and what were the maths questions like....

Hi there,
Yeh you will have a talk about CTC in general at which point you're able to ask questions and I'm sure there'll be plenty of opportunity to discuss any concerns whilst you're there. Somewhere near the beginning of this thread a website is mentioned which shows still images of some of the computer based aptitude tests. The maths is all mental maths so get working on your timetables!

New-CTC Wings Schme

Wondering if anyone can give me some insight into my situation.
If have just found out about the CTC course and am apply now but I have already done my training in New Zealand. I live here and am hoping to move to UK and do the conversion etc there.

I am about 5 weeks away form getting a NZ CPL and wonder if there is much hope in getting looked at having already done my training.

Any ideas??

Kent Uni CTC interview info

Hi,

I have Stage 3 coming up soon and was digging back through this thread and found that kent uni have a web page with the interview questions on. However you have to now be a kent uni student to access the page, is anyone at kent uni and could pass on the info, or does anyone have it allready that they could share?

Cheers

Hoody,
I don't know about that kent uni web site but noone's going to be able to tell you exactly what questions are going to come up in the interview. As long as you have prepared yourself fully you'll be fine. Each interview will be tailored to the individual though so you're not going find the questions anywhere.

NEW QUESTIONS!!!

Hey friends

need some help.

how about foreigners in the ctc sponsorship? i read an entry that there are some... but my question is:

# do u have a chance to be invited if u have done ur a-level exams in an eu-state, like germany?

# is here anyone from germany or another state who is interested in ctc program? or have already seen stage 2?

# are university degrees necessary to pass the stages successfully? i saw a homepage about ctc-sponsorship pilots....and it seems that most of them have an university degree like bachelor or masters...

ok thanx in andvance...and sorry for my english

Have applied and sent my phase 1 and 1a, so long will it take until I know about phase 2

Question

Hi all!

This is my first post on pprune so I'm sorry if this question was already asked before, but are there any suggestions on preparing for the tests that will be encountered during the phases.

Thank you
